Thank you for bringing us this excellent video presentation, I am surprised that this route hasn't been used for tourist trains, but when one considers the risks of rockfalls maybe that is why it was closed in the first place.

@@mr1shaggy I'd like to present you with a "Talking Out Your Butt" award. One of the trestles on that line wasn't even _built_ until 1932. Passenger service on the line ended in 1951. Use was suspended multiple times for repairs. The line was used up until 1976, then for a short stretch in the 80's, and again for four years in the 00's. The award has a plaque on it that reads, "It's possible to be more wrong than Your Name, but it wouldn't be easy."

SOME HISTORY: in 1964 the entire fright train derailed at one of the deepest, steepest sections. It was loaded with refrigerated semi truck trailers from the Coors beer company in Colorado. You can still see them down there the Coors logo is still visible. Some empty dented Coors beer cans are still down there. The steepest rail trestle bridge in the world is there, it think it still holds the record. I found square nails and rail spikes when I was there in the late 80's with date stamps on them. 1
