Railfanning San Mateo on 1/24/20,FT:Caltrain,and Union Pacific!!

U just caught 120 in Caltrain 370, with 921 leading, 116 in the middle, and 120 trailing. I caught that same set while I was railfanning at Mountain View on January 21 2020

Honestly it’s kinda sad seeing the electric wires realizing these beautiful monsters will be gone in a couple years

One part of the line will not be electrified, so you could probably see the diesel locomotives operating on that section. As far as I know though, they will not completely retire their diesel fleet
