Where were you for the first view of the coal train? I am not aware of any such vantage point, and it looked too steady to be a drone. It looked as if you were in a boat at one point, and you were able to aim through the fence on the branch line bridge while (mostly) keeping the fence from interfering. Excellent.

was there for filming of “gods and generals” a great place to railfan just thinking when all of that was built! all by hand. great videos thanks for all the work, was it originally the PRR trackage? so sad what the government did to the railroads in the NE during the oil imbargo , kept dragging their feet for rate increases by the ICC {i believe} during the drastic increase in the price of diesel fule.

I can't identify the coal trains. I saw M416 or M371 (westbound freight), M217 (empty auto racks) and P029 (Amtrak to Chicago.) When this was recorded, the prefix letter was Q as opposed to M.

CSX territory since the 1800s since CSX is actually the present day Baltimore and Ohio Railroad due to it surviving the 1968 Penn Central formation and Conrail from 1976 which had the other East coast railroads become a part of like Reading RR and Erie Lackawanna except for Norfolk & Western which merged with Southern Railroad to form Norfolk Southern railroad.

Do trains ever use the truss bridge?
@frederickschulkind8431 Жыл бұрын
Yes. It mostly gets rock trains to/from a quarry in Milville. There is some through freight.
