. Railroad Action Near Horseshoe Curve

This video was recorded on Thursday October 22, 1987 near Horseshoe Curve in Pennsylvania. Images were recorded on the Conrail trackage near Tunnel Hill which is to the east of Horseshoe Curve. The video contains images of six long freight trains and one image of just engine power all of which are heading westbound to the tunnels east of Horseshoe Curve. There is one brief image of an eastbound Amtrak train too. People interested in seeing what freight trains looked like here in the USA in 1987 will find this video of interest. It is an historical record of railroading back then.
