I've played this a lot in person and on the App. Excellent little Roll and Write. Still have 10 of the mini expansions to get through.

The game is OK, very luck dependent. The app is not quite as good. The app leaves out the optional river and lake dice on blue and the meteor, lava dice on the red version. This really cuts into replay ability, for me at least. So buy the box if it sounds like something you want.

I think it's fine for what it is, but I agree it is luck dependent. I haven't tried the expansions yet, but they seem good
