Only takes 3k to buy 10 log cars then the money starts flowing. Also if you go up from boat dock yo can make a balloon like loop with all the farm industries and back down to dock.

The cord wagons are also used for hay which I'll need very shortly and why I chose them. Money wise there's not much in it between cord and logs so either's good for a little cash injection at the start. The premade map has a line from the farms to the dock like you mention. I might end up doing that. Certainly would be a shame not to use the dock in the series.

@@bluewizard I recommend adding the red mountain depot to boat dock as the sell area of dock the piers sometimes messes up the unloads and you don't always get the full load amount

How are your graphics looking so good? Mine is at max settings and the track looks awful at a distance and when im riding in my loco cab its juddering like crazy. :| I am enjoying it though

The more you build and the more locos and wagons you buy the worse the performance. One thing that helps for me is using dx11 and not dx12. You loose some nice reflections but gain performance and the judder isn't as bad.

Not a good game, not recommended by me. The release version 1.0 has too many bugs, including the glas floor bug that is already one year old and still not fixed.

It's certainly not a perfect game. The hit boxes frustrate me. Controller support on pc seems to miss out quite a few controls. I hope it's different on console. There's some basic features such as being able to sell rolling stock not implemented. Whenever I've made videos of the game over the years I've been regularly told about issues which is a shame. The developer's certainly made mistakes along the way. Even so from where I saw the game in 2021 and where it is now is still night and day. Hopefully it's still worked on and some of the outstanding issues worked through as the gameplay is fine. I know the gameplay isn't what some people want it to be but it does what it intends to. You can play through an industry chain and it can be completed. This game reminds me of No Man's Sky. Hopefully there is a happy ending here too
