Some updates: There are *a lot* of problems with this update that I just didn't catch in time. Also on SteamDB it's visible that this update is labeled 1.0, let that sink in.

i agree, this game is not even close to be a solid 1.0 version... yet alone the 10+ new bugs ive encountered since the patch in 15h of playing (i know its a beta but cars not wanting to load lumber is litereally stupid.. i had to build a wall so they fall back onto the car)

Yeah, as per usual quite a few new bugs with the update, and a week without any fixes. I'd be more forgiving if the team would actually fix these things, but there's so much stuff that never got addressed. I'm still irritated by them just flipping all maps upside down and not reversing this. While I thought they got it right before, I recently noticed that the sun is now rising in the west.

this games needs either a whole other person to work on the driving and physics engine or a complete overhaul... having the balls to release this unfinished piece of railroading sim into an 1.0 state shouldnt even be considered in the first place.. i agree with pretty much everything you say and also they added a singleplayer and the train even twitches like crazy IN SINGLEPLAYER.. I mean WHAT?? its a very good game, i have 300+ hours myself, but its a shame how this potential is getting flushed down the drain and its extremly casual instead.. (loading and unloading could be overhauled too)

Can't pause the game in singleplayer either. Honestly at this point I wouldn't call it a good game. The idea behind it is great and the limitations and possibilities of narrow gauge railroading are amazing for a game, but the way the team executed everything just is a complete letdown. I'm still unsure whether the game will get more updates after the 1.0 release or if it will just be abandoned with the people behind it moving on to another project, but with the current team I dunno if more time would help all that much. They'd need better programmers for this as well as people with a better idea on where to take it. Sadly the head guy behind the game made sure to get those people chased away when they offered help. The same folks who are now working on Century of Steam.

18:50 everything is difficult if you are not able to do it... thats a lame excuse.. the game is simple in everything it does.. they copy and paste the shit out of the MM Menu, every function has the same base of coding.. thats why fly mode doesnt work with rerail and build mode when you toggle flight inbetween.. it thinks "you are in flymode now, why would you want to rerail something" if you have simple understanding of programming you know that this game is very very simple made and that the person(s) behind the base functions of the game is/are not very capable of creating a very good and realistic base... sadly.. it might be a lot of work, but since RRO exploded so high in sales it should still be taken into account.. (sound of engines, boiler capacity, and the weird similarity in top speed are all indications of copy and paste work..)

Yeah, they already have the customisation menu in the game, can't be that hard making it accessible when putting the engine into a certain area, like a workshop building. I was hoping for more since this is apparently the version Black Sheep has been working on, which is a far more experienced studio (though mostly with mobile games/ports). At least they improved the performance quite a bit.
