Thanks that railway looked a great time to experience . And the full size cruise ships from Southampton too ! I'm pleased this was unexpectedly popular soo soon this short clip. I hope to upload the full 1 HR 40mins Railscene brand 30 year old video tape in due course but all depending on copyright grounds with KZbin. I'm still working with better quality upload experimenting with this still.

@@timhuggins1993 I'm afraid you don't have copyright permission to put my programmes up on KZbin without my express permission, as clearly set out in the Copyright Notice at the beginning and end of the original programme. Jeremy Englis, Railscene

Great video - one correction, the ex-Tube stock illustrated is the original 1923 design, the 1938 stock was a later replacement

Hello there! My name is Vlad and I am a volunteer at Brading Heritage Railway Centre & Tearooms and I was wondering if we could borrow your video in order to show it to people. Yours faithfully, Vlad Copeti - Station Volunteer

Hi Vlad sure thing ! I suppose you did not need to ask me because i just recopied from an old vhs tape from 1986 ! Im glad you loved it and i hope the other tourists will too when you show them. I never heard of a railway museum centre in Brading just the famous Waxworks and death chambers in the town from my 11 holiday trips to the island . How busy is the Island line railway (modernish one) out of holiday season albeit where the 1960s steam preserved steam railway locos are newer than the mainline stock ? LOL . Also i heard from a comment you have written elsewhere on your channel they are to be replaced next year ? i loved the dinosaur livery train (shame it went) and the Pacers could be a good replacement for that line if only they fitted the tunnel clearance ! Or failing that why cant South western railway etc just use the steam locos in the summer time all over the island , that would be great publicity for the line , especially its not really "modern" standard as much of the rest of the uk anyway ?! Kind regards Tim.

@@timhuggins1993 As I said Island line wants to replace the rolling stock but from what I've heard it has been pushed to 2021, steam trains cannot be run on Island line because Ryde Pier Head needs major repairs and the two Ivatts might not fit at Ryde tunnel. Brading has a railway heritage centre since 2010 and we are open from May to October from Tuesday to Thursday and weekends. If you're thinking to visit us make sure you ask for me and I'll give you a tour.
