Railways at Tondu. 10 x 60s and track relaying mainline

Back in March 2003 track relaying on the mainline around Pyle meant the weekend freight movements on the South Wales mainline had to divert via Tondu. Due to the high number of trains on the line we have various interesting locations along the route, plus clips of the actual track work

10:34 interesting to see freight going over there to the OVE and the cars parked up, I’ve walked the dog there just recently very sad lonely looking place now.
