When experienced elders are talkin and just doin what they do, watch shut up and listen. Its worth it i promise. They can do it with their eyes closed and their hands tied behind their back. I wish more young people today would understand this and take it to heart! I wish i would've realized it sooner myself. Im just most thankful i did.

Yea men doing great things right now for women. And women are acting as if it was them alone that came up like that. It's men setting themselves aside right now. So that women can come up. And instead of being grateful. They're getting big headed and are literally taking those gestures to think they can take a man's power away instead. I caught on to that. It's definitely not about equal pay anymore.

So true my friend. I was a PGA Class A professional for about fifteen years (teaching pro, not playing) and have taught somewhere between 4 and 500 people to play. Often. some time after instruction, I would end up playing with some of my students. On three occasions my student or former student actually beat me in a round. Those were three of the most gratifying rounds of golf I have ever played.

Catching a real wave in the ocean is a whole different ball game than being guided into and lifted up onto a perpetual wave. When you're first starting out, the whole thing lasts about 2 seconds from catching the wave to face plant. Working its way up finally to maybe 5 seconds before the wave closes out.
@lukewise1227
@lukewise1227 7 ай бұрын
@@doormasterjohn Dude! At 7 yrs old I had a GT striped polystyrene surfboard, with a big rubber fin, that cost me $5 in pocket money. I paddled out the back and rode the wave all the way to shore until I stepped off onto the sand every time. Then I worked my way onto riding the face of the wave, then a real surfboard, then real manoeuvres like the guys in the movies. Because back in the day this was how it was done. Even in my late teens, if the surf was just monster close outs, I dragged out the 'foamie' from under the house and went for 'Kamikaze barrels' lying down. Speak for yourself about 1 second waves, to me they were endless. I've ridden sandy bottomed point breaks in Australia where the waves were so long, my legs were feeling fatigued at the end of each wave from the energy used in all the re-entries and cut-backs. The beauty of the Goat's ranch is that you don't have to wait for the break to start working, it's there same as always, everyday. Just like the perfect wave at Cape St. Francis in 'Endless Summer' (Yup, I'm that old).

Because it's a wave pool...it'd be way harder/practically impossible to do this kind of training in the real world. They are using that wave machine sled thing in California that creates a very uniform wave that travels a very long distance that's ideal for this kind of training. It's that train thing in the background that is pushing the water along. That's why they have so much time and such a smooth ride. Real waves are way to unpredictable too do this kind of board to board coaching.

@@lollygagger9571 There's a few of them but I'm pretty sure this is Surf Ranch in California. Kelly Slater and a few other pro surfers built it as a training center. Most native people of islands and costal cities have. It's become a white washed sport that intentionally neglects to highlight its origins. They actually banned the sport for a while in Hawaii and now make it insanely expensive for natives to compete.

What? It's pretty expensive $400 - $600 per wave the lady with butt implants has paid for plus the coaching. Fine and all but what are you on about?
@platapusdemon
@platapusdemon 5 ай бұрын
@@Energine1Even if she does have implants and paid for lessons, just riding small waves takes skill and concentration. Seen lots of people think surfing looks easy, and then they can't even stay on a body-board in low wake. (P.s. don't care if you're a troll, gonna comment anyways)
