The sound of rain is calming because it gives us a primitive feeling of safety. Generally people and even animals are not out and about when it is raining, but everyone and everything takes shelter and lays low until the rain stops. So we instinctually relax our guard.

Just had a tin roof installed or laid so I can hear raindrops on a tin roof instead of videos. Thanks for the right choice. My tin roof will save on my electricity billing per month.

Brad McBride sad thing is about these sound, when you turn them on you have to look at a screen. When you do that, screens light triggers something in you to keep you awake longer... How to fix that??? Mp3 player with brightness all the way down...
