Great video..i can't help but cry everytime i hear this song..it is a worlwide disgrace not just here in the US what has happened to farming families and nobody that has real power or money cares since their interests conflict with small farming communities....very depressing. In a few years we will al be eating only processed and synthetic food.

Great Johnny!!! We are Italian, we growed up listening his music, have a friend from Canada, but son of Italian parents, he took to us the music of the Cougar, when nobodies knew him in Italy, he caught our hearts so we still listen!!! These awesome songs take us back in time! First kisses in the house party, the years of high school the girlfriends we believed to get married!!!! He built a joint between 2 different cultures , I have been in America many times and now realised we are the same, freedom fighters, love defenders!!! Thanks to mr Mellecamp !! Love always win!!!!

Many family’s lost their farm land in the early 80’s and ours was one of them after that my life seems to have became a dream and not waking up, it killed my father and my mother later in years cause that’s all they knew
