Hey question New drummer here trying to learn…. That drum loop you play in the start, is that just going into the bands in ears, or is the whole congregation hearing that? Follow up would be, if it is going through front house, what is the reason since you’re already playing drums ?

What’s gud mane!?! It’s going thru both the band’s ears as well as the house. It keeps the band locked being that the church is so big, there’s be a delay in projection trynna go off of straight house. We could’ve used speaker monitors but of course the inears removes all of the excess spaced those would take up. The track itself isn’t needed for timing, as I have no issue locking without a loop but it simply just enhances the overall sound production.
