Loved this!! Especially the plot twist w. the bag. ;) In winter I try to do the same type of scarf/up do's you showed, I wish it was more accepted - I tend to get people staring at me a lot...

They just don't understand it's keeping your hair fabulous! If headscarves in the rain are good enough for the Queen then surely they're good enough for the rest of us? 😉 I'm so used to my style I get very surprised when people stare! x

I heavily pin on a crocheted snood (stylish hair net) on rainy or windy days. I either pair my snood with flower clips... Or I make a bumper bang stuffed with a hair rat (spongey roll of my own hair, in an old stocking to avoid tangles). The hair rat means wind and rain cannot flatten it because it is structurally supported! Low effort and sturdy for the working gal who endures all weathers.

You always look beautiful. 🙂 I love your 1950s look. 🙂 Speaking of about vintage, I remember seeing a picture of a family member with a scarf over her head because she had rollers in her hair taken in a photo booth (this was in the 1960s). 🙂

That first headscarf you tried on (at 1 min 35 seconds) was absolutely perfect. The size was gorgeous - it was so Audrey Hepburn as well as the Queen. I'd love to see this look worn by ladies far more. Thank you x

The problem with these is that the front is still exposed and gets all messy and frizzy. I have shorter hair so the front is the most important

My whole though during this video, as bad as it is, is that I could never do this because it looks like a hijab and I would get harassed. And here in America, a lot of ignorant people don't like people who wear hijabs. Again, it's an awful thought and I certainly don't ascribe to this backwards way of thinking, but I've seen women wearing scarves bullied and harassed on the street because people thought they were Muslim. Sometimes I hate people.

scarlet_hera89 women in the US get harrased for any kind of scarf on their head? Literally not a single of these could pass for a hijab.

You're deaf so you should know that you should add captions, I'm deaf but still feel oppressed while watching videos from a deaf youtuber, thats hurtful mostly from a deaf youtuber

+elodie swan hi Elodie, sorry about that. I am working hard with two friends to get the subtitles for all of my videos that don't have them so far. Unfortunately it's a very slow process but I will try to make sure that any videos finished but not already published (I mainly finish a video on the day it goes out) is given priority x

I was wondering why some of her videos have amazing accurate captions, and some of them i have to use auto generated captions. Im deaf too (60% in left 80% in the other) but i use ASL as im in america so when she sihns sometimes im like WAIT I DONT KNOW WHAT YOURE SIGNING... took me a few videos to realise she uses BSL and isnt in America 😂😂😂
Which is the EASIEST vintage hairstyle???
