I like this recording better than other rain sounds on KZbin because it's more subdued and not so loud. There are other rain sounds that are too loud and actually keep me awake! This one is just soft enough to become relaxing background noise for me to sleep and even relax during the day!

This is my favorite of all the relaxing rain sounds I heard, so far. The smooth, even sizzle is so much more soothing and suitable to my needs than the recordings with the sharp, startling rain splashes in so many others. The distant thunder sound is acceptable because it isn't a loud, frightening explosion. Thanks Brad.

I suffer of periodical panic attacks and anxiety. About two months ago I was just minding my own business, nothing wrong happened, but then out of nowhere I felt an attack coming. I was home alone, and I started to get very scared because usually my father holds me until the worst passes. I found this video and blasted it full volume... and like magic, the beginnings of the attack went away. I've been using this video ever since. It's amazing, it has helped with my panic attacks more than years of medication and therapy. Suddenly I can focus and that horrible wrenching feeling in my gut fades. It's like a bucket of water on a campfire. I've had like half a dozen of panic attacks feel like they're about to hit, but I just put on my headset and focus on the sound of the rain and... they're *gone*. And it's not just any rain video, it's THIS ONE. There's something in the volume and the frequency, it's only THIS video. I don't know how, but it makes me so happy I could literally cry. So I guess what I want to say is thank you.

Thinking about this helps me relax when i listen to this rain video. Imagine its a zombie apocalypse at night time and there is a storm happening outside, you are in a house that has been fortified with strong fences. everyone else is asleep (theres about 15 of you) All the lights are out to avoid any attention from zombies or bad people. you are on watch duty in the attic looking out the window sipping your cup of coffee or tea while listening to the rain. your friend comes up to take your shift. instead, you both have a deep conversation with each other while storm is going.

It's great because my parents don't really mind the sound too much and it blocks the "unsettling" sound of my typing at least slightly! I appreciate how much effort you have put into this recording. I am so glad it is nine hours long because all the other videos are either too short and you have to reload it all over again or too long and my computer doesn't like large files! This... it's beautiful... I'm trying to get all my homework done, it's piling up, but I can actually relax and not get distracted like I do with other music. I use this for sleep as well, for some reason rain sounds have always made me feel comforted. Thank you for posting this ^-^

I get migraines everyday for months straight and I can never fall asleep right. I’m 17 and between my headaches and corona virus my life hasn’t been the greatest so far, but I am here today because of this video.
