Rain Water Catchment Strategies

We finally install our rain water catchment system and are able to gravity water our gardens.

algae growth is a thing..might consider paint the totes or covering them with contractor's black plastic

If would have them underground you could keep them from freezing easier. Plus, you wouldn't have those tanks so visible...

Actually, collecting water off of a shingle roof is no good because of the chemicals in shingles, I've seen drip lines eat through bushes...

I've tried to catch rain water, I get tired and the neighbors think something is wrong with me
