You forgot that the artificer can parry while crouching which will stun nearby creatures and make scavengers drop their weapons. This is an amazing combo with its ability to maul stunned enemies. The artificer can fight a lizard unarmed just with this trick.

I have basicaly no knowledge of rain world,never knowing of It despite KZbin saying It released in 2017,and the only gameplay video of rain world Ive watched is albino's 30 minute video of what i believe is the beggining of the game. Even then, this video was informative enough that i understood the way each slugcat works,and How to use them If i wasint too poor for buying games let alone DLC, meaning you made a pretty good video i guess. Also If i could id totaly play the artificer,im the type that likes to use explosives If its an option.

That clip you showed of arti parrying a spear was incorrect, the jump is not the parry ability, try holding down while doing the explosive jump that preforms a new move called a "parry".

I only played this game when it was new. What happened to that slug cat who could carry an extra spear on its back and could only feed on other creatures because it was a carnivore slugcat.

Hunter is still in the game he is like time trial mode. Also some of the dlc characters have more varied diets including meat, if you liked the original this is a must buy imo adds so much to the game.

Hunter at least for Gourmand or Artificer as far as I've seen

Most of them seem to use Hunter spawns from what I've seen, but some of the areas are noticeably different

saint is far on its own thats clear as day, i often suspect spear from a stream has hunter spawns and proably a altered for artificer (i do fine it intrest that they have to use others for karma gates dead or alive.

Kind vultures are pretty weak too, until the game decides to huck 5 of them at you on a peaceful stroll through chimney canopy.

@@brunopagnoncelli975 depends, if it's one you can like 90% of the time avoid the harpoon, but multiple make two different angles that make the harpoons near impossible to dodge, because usually you just move straight into the other harpoon after dodging the first shot. (Also it's pretty inaccurate and they often miss targets that are literally standing still.)

No spoilers but you can still kill things by knocking them off edges and you can throw grenades too (lol). Saint just won't throw a spear in any situation. Uhh and there's something when you get all the echoes...

The Artificer is effectively the slugcat rendition of a Fire-type Pokemon. It is explosive and HATES water :)
