This video does a pretty good job reflecting my own feelings on Rain World. It's a game that is, on all levels, about surviving the cruel indifference of nature, and the game is utterly unapologetic about it. It really gives a unique experience and a lot of room for the player's own growth.

the game does kinda tell you how to change items from hands and drop them on the pause menu

I found out that holding Y on rocks and shit can cause you to ingest them. Holding again while make you spit them up.

Older post, but: this is actually _only_ true when playing with default controls! This aide on the pause screen doesn't exist if you have customized the controls.
