This song makes me imagine a vast, thriving futuristic world. A utopia. I think this is what the Benefactors had, it was as good as it could get in this world. But it wasn't enough, and so, they moved onto the next. Rain World was never post-apocalyptic, it's post-utopian! The song is also very nostalgic.

For the people who dont know, many of the creatures in rain world descend from "purposed organisms" Take for example the hazer, possibly used to make ink as it explodes in a big bomb of ink, likely killing, or injuring itself severely during the process, the slugcats are though to be able to clean the pipes, the rot in the foreground of the map are some sort of Memory cartridge for the ancients, many of these "purposed organisms" were made by 9 pebbles, and possibly no significant harassment as well.

1. Pretty much everything descends from purposed organisms. 2. Iterators are very limited in what they can do. No organism in the game is confirmed or even hinted at being made by an iterator, other than the Hunter and even that's very much debatable.

Like many others, this song is special to me because my early cycles were me stuck within the industrial complex. I stayed in the shelter near the scavenger treasury and in that place I killed the 5 basic lizards and almost got the chieftain passage. The scavengers there are my homeboys, they greet me every time I leave the box at the start of a cycle and follow me around the complex but in turn that places them in danger since I unlocked the red lizard in the lizard den right above the base. So as soon as a new cycle starts there, I will have to prepare to kill at least 3 -4 lizards because of: 1st the red lizard, then the 2 green lizards, and then either a blue, white, or a sparkling blue lizard. Soon, after progressing a bit further in other areas. I returned with the chieftain achievement unlocked and they still kept following me around, and the red lizard is still there to kill them and I'm trying my damn hardest to protect them. Anytime the red lizard shows up, I just have to get out of the location of the red lizard quickly so none of them gets killed. This is the theme for me and my boys.
