The Meadowhawk just needs to be a regular body and neck option. I've been waiting for years and years for that wonderful ergo bolt on joint to be available as a regular option :)
@JohnDoe976428 күн бұрын
Yes! I support that. Give us regular Meadowhawk bodies!

I can’t even play anymore due to damage to my hand but somehow I feel like my life wouldn’t be complete without one of these
@kennywilkinson927028 күн бұрын
As someone else who suffers from hand injuries and different problems developed from playing….i gotta say, one plus side of It is having the excuse to do so many builds because you “HAVE TO HAVE” certain specs so you can play with comfort, or play at all. Life is too short and if guitars make you happy, GO FOR IT. One day when we are dead and gone there will be a great instrument around for the next set of hands and in the mean time you get to enjoy it. Even if that means only looking at it and letting friends jam on it! In comparison so most hobbies adults are into, building parts guitars is relatively inexpensive. I must admit I had a few negative experiences with warmoth and I was all set to boycott them….with my tail between my legs, I admit, they are still the best in the business for aftermarket custom parts. My apologies to warmoth for being a grump. I’ve since ordered from them and have had great experience. Anyway sorry for the rant, back to the point, get one of these beauties!

Try to play with other digits or style. Beautiful

Buy a LinnStrument or Linnstrument 128, it's absolutely 100% worth it. There are a million free VSTs and MANY amazing acoustic and electric guitars await you. You don't need to stop playing music! Much, much better investment of a similar amount of funds than a wall-hanger/convo piece.
@rocl42028 күн бұрын
wewwww my reply got deleted, shame on Warmoth if it wasn't some auto-function but that's strange that they would set a filter for "L***strument"..... you can still play music, with a guitar/bass layout, if the ravages of time and physical ailments restrict you from fretting strings, just look online

love when you guys do these special releases. thanks for including us shredders with the Soloist/Arcade combo!
@ltgray278028 күн бұрын
Those Soloists look really nice. Looking forward to seeing those. May have to start saving my pennies. Had a Jackson 2 humbucker that I bought brand new in '86, and sold it like a fool in 2015, after a prolonged hospital stay, and thought I'd never play again. After years of rehab, I'm able again, and miss her dearly. If anyone knows of her whereabouts, she's pink, 2 Jackson humbuckers, a Licensed by Floyd Rose Jackson tremolo, and serial number 1863. I want her back. Sold it to (who I thought was) an old friend, who I had taught to play, 40+ years ago, promised if he ever was going to sell her, would offer to me first. He found out what it was really worth and funded his addiction. So, it goes.

That "all access heel joint" will ever be an option on all bodies? The current countour heel joint is fine, but that rounded one would feel way better on the hands
@schmoemi338621 күн бұрын
The Contoured Heel is definitely better than nothing. I used a Fender American Ultra Series body on one of my last builds, and I find that even more ergonomic. Downside is that you won't be able to use that standard rectangular neck plate with these... 🤔
@64firebird28 күн бұрын
wish you would have bent it over the contour but still beautiful

When I think of Walnut, I think of bass. Why no love for bass?
@MrStrumTheory28 күн бұрын
I’d love to get this wood in a short scale G4 body.
@rocl42028 күн бұрын
Yeah it's curious, idk, I guess their market demand is almost entirely teles and strats. A short scale bass in something sexy is exactly what would get me to buy a body/neck set or at least tack on a neck to a special run order. I need a regular-scale righty bass anyway, this coulda been the moment, ah well. Pipedream time: how about some BLANKS with some nice tops?!
@bluglass781928 күн бұрын
Possibly because of the size of the bookmatched sets. I mill and dry a lot of my own wood and I start planning basses early on to have big enough blanks.
@warmoth24 күн бұрын
@bluglass7819 nailed it. We only get what nature gives us. Some of these pieces weren't even big enough for guitar bodies, hence the 3-piece tops.
@bluglass781924 күн бұрын
@@warmoth I might just have a building habit myself so I understand. Years ago you guys inspired me to do scratch builds without meaning to. I can never thank you guys enough.
@rocl42028 күн бұрын
These look amazing, especially the HSS strats with what I consider several tops epitomizing "claro" in my eyes. Amazing wood! That said when I think "godlike bookmatch" I'm thinking something like an LP shape or even bigger (a Nomad or King V would have me camping on the website) and it's really sad to see no Regals in the lineup once again. Yeah your matte black gold sets were cool but not close to this kind of special run. really more the opposite (pearloid vs figured wood is not even comparable). The Meadowhawks look great but top-bevel cuts aren't for me, and especially with the "unique choice" option in the builder remaining unavailable, I'm just not in the market. Enjoy for those who want these! They look great but feedback is feedback.
@user-ug8nc9wu3x23 күн бұрын
AANJ needs to be a standard option on all bodies. Make it happen! I just ordered a tele body last week. We'd have taken this shape and neck joint over that for sure.

Me want! Me want! Me Want! Those are F**KING RIDICULOUS!!! Although, I think those meadowhawks from a couple years ago were stunning. But, these those LP style necks are just killer. Are they staying true to the 24.7 length? I would love to to have an offset with a killer 3-4A flame offset with that flame LP neck. Just out of curiosity, are you guys still doing the finishes like those limited run meadowhawks from a couple of years ago? Or, were those truly a “limited” run. I know sometimes you guys do some one-off finishes/styles if we reach out to you. *Also, if you’ve never done a Warmoth build, it’s tough to remember all the details. Kind you remind us of what you DON’T do, that will have to be done locally?

Why is it that all the discussion about guitar necks is always leaning in to it being thinner? There’s a lot of us out there that play Spanish, classical, flamenco, etc who are also into electric guitar playing, that would like some discussion towards wider necks for a change

@rocl42028 күн бұрын
I can't be alone in seeing the back-lams and thinking "those could have been more guitars, why not just choose some flamed/semi-flamed mahogany instead?" Look into the pickup routes on the link in the description, most of these guitars seem to have gotten pick-of-the-litter body slabs which is awesome. Gorgeous for sure, I wonder what the price will be.
