In my experience with this doll and her dress, i’ve found that the easiest and best way to put her dress on any doll is too get it over her legs and then use your hand to wrap around the dress under the top skirt layer and push up! You don’t risk ripping the sleeves or the dress and for me it slipped on relatively easy

I adore Jett! She's wonderful! I pre-ordered one off of Amazon and when they pushed back the shipping date, I got annoyed and ordered one off of Target instead. Color me surprised when I opened it and actually got one of the numbered ones (419/1000 if anyone is curious) so I've gotten a second one that's just a normal one that I can open and have on my shelf with the others in my collection

I passed on Jett I see plenty at my Targets I just didn’t want to spend $57.99 on 1 doll when I could get 2 series 3 dolls at that price. I also passed on the Beetlejuice dolls although that was honestly more tempting even at $90.

I'm so jealous of everyone living in the USA and getting these dolls in stores! I saw a Jade in a store once and I freaked out lol I've never seen them before! I really love Poppy and Amaya (both versions of Amaya, since I love her black high boots) 🦋🖤 I'm still a bit shy collecting dolls because of fear of other people's opinion, and my daughter is only 4 months old so she can't play with them yet 😂🙈

I think the dress is for Jett because she was wearing it (debuting it) in the Rainbow High episode. I think the fact that it doesn't fit is a design flaw. But I like the clothing she came in the best and I am so in love with her hair. Not so sure the price is worth it though.

Honestly for 58 dollars she's a buy, I loved her long colorful high quality hair, extra articulation, functioning sewing machine, Beautiful textured clothes, comparing to what other companies have released she's so way more worth it especially this kind of quality in other company may cost $150 USD, in my country RH dolls double the price that's why I'm just gonna get my first Doll (Violet) on Christmas!! 😊

I preordered mine on amazon too. I'm hoping to get a numbered doll, but won't be upset if I don't get one. I checked my Target and she wasn't there. What I find unfair is MGA sending numbered dolls to youtubers for free for a review of the doll. Not that those people don't deserve it, but the numbered dolls are limited and should only go to those who actually purchased the doll. Sending a numbered doll to someone free means someone who preordered the doll won't get a numbered version. I know everyone who preorders won't get a numbered doll. When I preordered from amazon I did expect then to ship shortly after release, but I get the feeling she's on backorder. I think at this point I just want the doll. 😔

I disagree. This is the most expensive single Rainbow High doll to date, so the comparison is natural. That is, is she worth the extra over the previous dolls? This is always a highly subjective question anyway. One thing to consider relative to previous dolls is that we are in inflationary times and the $27 dolls will certainly be going up, unless MGA decides to make one series much better value just to “hook” people.

The quality of the clothes, specially the dress, can perfectly make the doll way expensier if she was another doll brand. To me, who i do some clothes, is worth the price just for the ability the dress requires to be first imagined and then crafted

I loved Jett’s character on the show to the point I heavily considered buying her doll (target was sold out before I could so I’m still debating). Like immediately her knowledge of fabrics and different fashion styles of the world during the episode really intrigued me. Also I would put Avery in the dress but not have her wear any of the wigs and just show off her pixie cut.

I preordered my Jett Dawson and she finally arrived yesterday. I unbox and dressed her in the gown. Tricky to undress and dress her but possible. I plan to get the closet, too. The accessories are awesome! I am already using the trunks to store her other outfit and shoes and hangers. is she worth it? As a long time doll collector, and aspiring doll artist, this is an awesome presentation and very good value for a collectible doll. I also use my crafting skills to make doll clothes so I think she was a perfect choice. By the way, this is my first Rainbow High doll.

I totally agree with you on all points. Definitely worth the money. I immediately put the dress on the dress form when I got it as I assumed it was meant to be a display piece. I wouldn't put her hair down, so I'm not bothered by the sparseness on top. I think if that part of her head was fully rooted that it would be too much hair for the top knot. I love Jett. She's one of my favorite Rainbow High dolls.

I have seen the dress put on Ruby but personally it looks good on the mannequin and Jet. I couldn’t find her at my local Target but found the 20th anniversary Bratz Sasha doll and the deluxe fashion closet which I plan in waiting to get. Though still want Jett regardless if she’s numbered or not.

Hey Melissa! I am here to praise your camera again. While I did see Elvira’s video that she posted before you uploaded this, I did not see the gold detailsf on Jet’s sneakers. I also couldn’t see the RH logo on the sewing machine either. I saw these on your video with your awesome camera! I watched both videos on my 70” 4K TV, but your camera picked up the gold!! You often compare yourself to other doll channels, but you shouldn’t. You sit close enough to the camera and make a point of showing the small details that others miss. I saw the recent episode where she changed into this dress and it was amazing. I think the dress is made for Jett but she needs to adjust it and let it out to fit her hips, thus the sewing machine and tape measure. She is beautiful though i probably would keep her in the box if i had her.

I absolutely adore Jett. I saw some pictures of her on the magazine and she is who got me into Rainbow High. She keeps selling out around me so I haven't got her yet. But I will eventually. I would most likely put Sunny or Skyler in the dress. Since red works well with yellow and blue.

The doll is great, I love her straight hair (I'm becoming obsessed with straight hair in RH dolls, it is so rare and looks so good) and I really like her bangs, certainly an improvement in comparison to Wave 1 Sunny's and Violet's bangs. Her sketch outfit and accessories are also adorable. But honestly I don't like the evening gown - not a fan of the mermaid silhouette in general, and I also think the design looks too busy. The fact that you can't put it on Jett doesn't help either. So I won't buy her, mainly because of this evening gown, because I love everything else. Thank you for the review and your perspective!

In the last Rainbow High ep on KZbin that dress is Jett's and those heels go with that dress. I think Sunny would look amazing in that gown though. I have bought Jett but I am still undecided about opening her. You're right. People are complaining so much about this doll. The thing is this is a collector's doll and people don't seem to understand that, she's not designed to be played with nor be taken out of the box, so that's why she has a bald spot and the dress doesn't fit. Besides, for me, she isn't special and doesn't have anything that makes her stand out. I don't think she's worth it for that price nor deserves to be collectible. She's pretty though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am with you! I’m all about the story telling, I didn’t want the doll till I saw the episode! Then I fell in love with her, I agree about the dress not being for her. You're totally right! We're probably too accustomed to Rainbow High dolls quality because this Jett is worth 60$. I mean... Just look at this dress: it has EMBROIDERY!! We never seen this since years on a doll playline! There's only the Disney designer dolls to have such details. So yes, you can don't like the dress (I still can't find a character abbles to wear it... even Ruby!) but not deny the high quality of production work.

To be honest, $58 for this doll was well worth it. MGA has top notch quality and doesn't disappoint. (besides the new closet with clothing.) I personally think Ruby would look amazing in the dress since red is her signature color. I love Jett. I still have her in the box. But I do plan to buy one more so I can have one out of box because I lack self control and I don't feel guilty nor bad. haha!

I was able to get the dress on her. Mind you this was with some work, time and patience. The tightest part fits around her knees, don't try to push it beyond that. Then the rest will come up to fit.

I ordered one on American Amazon and I’m having her shipped to Korea. Recently Amazon seems to have lowered its international shipping rates dramatically. Rainbow high dolls haven’t even hit Korea yet but luckily I was in the US when they came out.

First of all hi, and I love your videos 🥰 Now I ordered 2 Jett dolls one to take out and review for me, the other to keep in the box. I do agree for such an expensive doll and knowing that some people do restyle RH dolls hair, she should of had a full set of hair. Sadly mine only had the pink outline rerooted, lmao so she's bald in the middle of the pink section. The funny thing is that her dress fit my Jett. It wasn't hard to put on or take off. I even tried it on the doll form and it fit nicely. I tried it on other RH dolls and it also fit. I got a bald head but a dress that fits, hmm. I did return the 2nd Jett because it looked like someone had opened it,each arrived separately why idk. I loved the body so much I removed Jett's head and put Bella's instead since it's the closest head that matches Jetts body. Other than that I'm 50/50 whether she's worth it or not.

I hope that when I get mine the dress fits some one.....Even if I end up giving it to another doll and have it be their dress instead , it would be nice to have a dress that fits one of my dolls. I got some dresses from the dollar tree that I haven't found dolls for yet. They may end up as display only items or changed up a bit if I continue having issues with them. 🙄☹ I am usually very anti - skirts and dresses but this is such a beautiful one!

@@kalezuki9231 see I think people aren't putting her dress on the right way. When I saw it after all the videos I watched I was like, oh no 😢 but when I put it on her it looked so pretty. I checked the back and it fully closed,the thigh section and it wasn't tight, mind you she can't sit lol, but in the real world in a dress like that idk if it is possible to sit. I had already planned out how I would fix the problem too if it didn't fit properly, I would just add a section of black material down the middle and sew the velcro to that piece. I hope yours fits because she really is a beautiful doll and the dress is gorgeous. 😁
