I don’t own a Rainbow High doll (because I’m a broke teenager who promised to buy myself one once wave two comes out), but I I’m in love with Sunny. I love her anime-ish hair, the fact that she’s POC, her personality, the rainbows into her outfit. I would be her friend if she were real.

Ruby has always been my favourite from the beginning. And then Sunny... but I do love Skyler. I think she has a gorgeous face. The denim style is simpler than the others but it is geat too.

Okay, I literally GASPED when you said "Poppy.... You are out of the platform."!! I was sure you would choose Poppy. Maybe because Poppy is MY favourite. :D I live in Finland and I ordered Poppy and Ruby as my first RH dolls, but they have difficulties getting poppy in stock. I'm having Ruby tomorrow in mail but no telling when I'm getting Poppy.

I bet Bella and the Teal A boy's dolls are gong to look really cool in series 2. As for favorite doll, I am biased towards Ruby's red hair but I think Poppy has the prettiest outfit. And I like how Jade's makeup is darker and edgier in the animation. It seems that that part of her personality did not translate to her doll form. And as for a doll I wish they would make, jet black hair with super pale skin and goth in the clothing and makeup and only wears black. Basically, my ideal black-representing doll should look really goth and a bit edgy.

Ruby is my favorite! I’m a rocker chick and she speaks to that part of me. I love her so much I haven’t even unboxed her yet. She’s in my shelf and I just look at her and admire her. I want them all, but she’s my only one so far! I think Poppy will be next though.

We didn’t collect Amaya either I would have been more tempted if she had a darker skin tone and instead of hair junk give us a 2nd outfit and charge the normal $26.99 instead of $34.99 I don’t remember the darker purple doll or boy names either. I noticed the lockers in the hallway at school seem to be a hint for the colors of dolls cause I’ve seen 4 leaked on Instagram to come and then Bella Harper in the video but I saw her too recently on Insta. We don’t have Jade or Violet I might not collect them I’m undecided because I’m excited for more of these to come.

Skyler is the only one that I was fortunate enough to find in stores and buy, but I do think Poppy is my favorite! I honestly love them all though! If I had to rank them, it would be: 1. Poppy 2. Jade 3. Skyler 4. Sunny 5. Violet 6. Ruby

I thought the animation was kind of creepy... it didn’t know if it wanted to be cartoony and extreme or realistic which just put it in uncanny valley. i also didn’t like how they reacted to the “alternative” girl... it was weird. it’s never appropriate to be scared or scream because someone looks different than you 🤦‍♂️. it’s also super weird because they’re all in heavy makeup and non-traditional outfits. why is that one girl supposedly any weirder than the rest of them? from my experience in alternative fashion communities usually we respect people from other fashion communities because we understand all the same struggles and respect other people who are expressing themselves! so even if jade’s stuff isn’t their style they should still respect her and not be “afraid” idk. that rubbed me the wrong way.

Well, if somebody is in “alternative makeup” (it’s called “alternative” for a reason) and they’re right up in your face, with the fact that you’re complete strangers, I’d also get a little jumpy. It’s just the unique makeup, added with them being extremely close in your face and that you don’t know them.

That isn't really what happened. As someone said, someone giving you a literal jump scare (which is what Jade did) will startle you (if you're prone to being jumpy).

The first one I chose to buy was Poppy, the butterflies won me over. Also I like Violet so much but I would take the bangs out. You should buy Amaya, not for the hair play, but just because she has white hair, the lack of color among all these is nice. I can't wait for the pink girl to come out.

I love red, it has been my favorite color for many, many years, so naturally I love Ruby, but I also really love Poppy and the color orange. So I would also have a hard time choosing between the two. I want to say Ruby would be my favorite, but Poppy would be such a close second it would almost be a tie.

I got my first Rainbow High doll for Christmas this year which was also a surprise of what colour to open so when I did Christmas morning I literally cryed inside of happiness because I was hoping blue or purple so the one I got was Violet who is the purple. I thought before when you were choosing one I thought you will Choose Ruby.🌹🥀 🌹

I like how Melissa leans more towards warmer colors, it was interesting to see since I lean more for cooler colors (my favorite has to be Skyler even though my favorite color is purple) but I can definitely say choosing a favorite like she did is extremely hard XD

Ruby is very cute as well!!! I’ve been getting them in order of my favorite. Of course, Poppy was first!!! I LOVE Butterflies 🦋 then Sunny and I think I will get Ruby next. Im so excited for the future of this doll line and their show! I already almost got everyone - just waiting for Amaya now! Idk if it's just me, but I wish Jade had darker makeup. But I think her almost neutral look in doll form is due to her being a make-up artist so her face can be the blank canvas depending on her mood😆 My favorites among the core 6 dolls: 1. Sunny 2. Poppy 3. Skylar 4. Jade 5. Ruby 6. Violet (her attitude towards Sunny atm has brought her down from 3 oof) Then between Avery and Amaya: I like Avery more so far despite her antagonist position in the show atm😂 Cant wait to see Amaya!!

I will have to watch the show today. Totally agree with all your choices, Ruby and Poppy are my favourite of these dolls also, but so hard to choose a favourite as they all look beautiful, Sunny is one of my favorites and her hair is amazing and love her rainbow platform shoes, and Jade would have looked better with more variation in her hair colour, and Skyler does have some crunchy hair, I have two Ruby dolls and one has a really shimmery face and the other one doesn't which is strange, looking forward to seeing the next series of dolls. Lol 😂 very cool music choice at the end, and glad you got that pink wig free of that frustrating plastic thing, always love your vids and reviews 😍💖🌈

My favorite is Skylar because blue is my favorite color. I just put water on her hair and brushed it with a wig brush. It’s now very soft and wavy. You don’t really need to use soap; the product washes out with plain water and rubbing with your fingers or brushing.

I just started my collection. I wasn't going to because of how messy the hair is out of box & also flaws on some dolls. I ended up buying wall shelves and got my first doll. I do like her. Mine has a flaw. I had to wash her hair to get it half way decent.. And Yes I ended up buying 2 more dolls. I'm going to buy a new one bi weekly. I'm not going to collect all of them, just a few. Going to have fun I suppose and enjoy. ✨🎉 I bought the blue doll with rainbow hair, then waiting on the orange doll with butterflies and also the dark pink doll. Next one will be Ruby, Valentine if I can still grab her in a week as well as 2 Cheer Dolls.

I found it interesting that all of the cold colors were eliminated first, haha. I'd say my favorite out of wave 1 would have to be Violet, I love the color that her palette is crossing between purple and blue I'm such a sucker for it. With Jade, her hair does have a paler shade of green in her hair, which is easier to tell when it comes to the cheer doll, but she is s o gorgeous.

I've found it necessary to run RH hair under a hot bathtub faucet, and shampoo it using lots of liquid dishwasher soap. The hair comes out perfect after that. It makes it much more fun for a kid to brush. Also, kids should be taught to comb only very gently, starting at the ends of the hair, because combing doll hair hard pulls the individual hairs out of shape and frizzes it out badly.

In my country Ruby seems to be the most popular with Violet, as both sold out after christmas. Sunny, Skyler and Jade are the least popular as there's still stock of them on multiple stores. So Ruby was definitely made to be a top seller.
