The swappable lower legs is actually a thing I've seen Integrity Toys and some BJD companies do with their dolls! It makes it easier to stand the doll on its own because since the ankle doesn't move, it's more stable. It makes me stupidly happy that they actually let the boy in the line have this pinkish-peach color as his color scheme, AND they gave him rooted eyelashes. They could have easily given him blue or green or a more "boy appropriate" color and not given him eyelashes, but they let him have pink and gave him eyelashes and it makes me so stupidly happy. He may have gotten shortchanged on accessories, but the fact that they let him have pink as a color scheme makes me happy for some reason.

So glad you spoke about how playing with your dolls is calming and healing for you. I get a lot of dolls at thrift stores and yard sales - so first thing they do here is get a bath. I've found that sitting them down with feet elevated and the arms straight up will drain the water that gets inside! Takes a while, but it works!

How Bella got to go to pacific coast high. Its radiant week at Rainbow High and Bella, Sheryl, and Gabriella got an award for showing the most perspective in their project. [perspective was the theme of this radiant week] and so they get a chance to work on a project with Pacific Coast High. but currently, there is no Pacific Coast High Episode.

Regarding the legs... I love the spares. They allow the dolls to glam in their high heels or walk barefoot in the sand. It puts them on the same class--get the school reference--as Integrity Toys dolls.

So Bella got back into Rainbow High because she kept calling and messaging the principal to take her back. And then she won a school competition and the price was a trip to Pacific Coast (Rainbow High's sister school)

I LOVE Margot! Love her eyes, her pale freckles, I LOVE the tinsel in her hair! And her shoes are just…(chef’s kiss)! I’m currently sewing a pearlescent mermaid tail for her because she definitely has mermaid hair! Lucked out and found scaly pleather material in a white pearl coloring. Finn is so cute! Gives me chill dude vibes and his surf board is pretty cool. You can pose him to make it look like he’s riding it. Just make sure there are no light breezes. I wish there were more clothes for him and River. Boys like clothes, too! I’m debating on getting Simone. Her face is beautiful and I really like the sunrise/sunset thing she has with Phaedra. But I don’t know. So far, Phaedra is my favorite out of this line. Maybe one of my favorites all around! Anyway, still up in the air about the leg thingy. Interesting but I have a feeling many kids will be ending up with dolls who have curious foot arrangements. Just wondering if they had a test run with a focus group before making this decision. Also, loving the wavy beachy wig on you! You’re rocking it!

Heat the lower leg up in a cup of hot water, the leg will snap right on and then wait for it to fully cool then you can take them on and off easy.

Hello! I'm recently addicted to rainbow high! At age 53 and I'm not ashamed! I've been binge watching your videos and learned that you have ms and are in nj? I too am originally from nj and have ms. I had to comment here as I 110% agree that it is very therapeutic. I was very much into my dolls as a young girl being the baby sister and #9 of 10 children in my family 7 of which were boys! Lol my two sisters were both much older than I so I always found myself alone with my dolls. It was my happy place! As I got older I taught myself to sew and was making clothes and furniture for them! Now here I am at 53 finding myself returning back to that little girl and I'll tell ya, I ain't hatin it! I really like Margot and Simone, they're my favorite two from the line. I'm not sure how I feel about the leg situation, it's a cool concept but it leaves room for error. My margot came with 3 flat feet and 1 high heeled foot. Since her shoe style is high heel my doll can't wear her shoes. Edit: I did file a claim with MGA over this issue on March 1st I'm happy to report that today March 14th I received a new pair of legs in the mail. 🙂 So MGA is at least willing to remedy manufacturing mistakes.

@@EvansFamilyLegoProject the way the doll was in the box, it had one high heeled foot on and one flat foot on with a shoe on each. Since the shoes this doll comes with are high heels it didn't actually really fit on the flat foot, however it was on it.

I only have Simone so far that we won in a giveaway I just can’t bring myself to buy any of these at $32 per doll when series 1-3 came with extra outfits at a lower price point. Like I appreciate the towels & beach bags. I’m not a fan of the extra feet. I wish all the girls had shorts or just better skirt wraps since I feel like they’re either too short or too see through so I’d just be happier if this line was giving more fashion and not just swimwear especially compared to the lol omg budget dolls that were $11.99-$16.99.

I love the Rainbow High Pacific Coast dolls! I thought Morgan would be my fav, but I fell in love with Simone & I didn't like her at first! I don't like Margot. I used to have a Barbie cruise ship! I would actually put water in the pool and have the dolls swim in it and it was so much fun. I have pretty poor eyesight at my ripe old age of 18 so I have to wear glasses constantly and I’ll tell you what. I actually tried putting my sunglasses over my reading glasses intentionally! It did not work. I actually managed to score prescription sunglasses for a really good price so I don’t have to worry about that anymore! Edit: I find it really funny that you mentioned Happy Days because it was my dad’s favourite show. And Brady Bunch was one of my mum’s favourites!! I have hair that reaches below my butt and it ALWAYS get's stuck everywhere. I wish I were a mermaid because underwater it would just flow everywhere and never stick to my face hahahah. I would also love it if they made the towels in 'human size'. I hope they'll do that one day but please don't let them make it a target online exclusive because that way people in Europe won't be able to buy them. It's a real struggle, every walmart or target exclusive costs so much money here because they have to go through a whole system and be sold for more money.

a luau theme is very expolitative to hawaii because it commodifies the culture & turns the island into just a tourist location ; where people come like parasites with disregard to the locals. the hawaii tourism industry is a booming economy but so many native hawaiians are homeless & marginalized in their own state. i think a theme that could work instead where a lot can transition over could be a fantasy island instead. still beachy & fun without appropriating hawaiian culture
