It can already be a little tricky to tell Rook and Doc apart at a glance. I get they’re from the same faction, so they are going to wear similar uniforms but it still hurts the gameplay. This isn’t like OG Rainbow Six where the characters are all the same

R6 could’ve catered to that very dedicated audience but they decided to try and get the bigger mainstream audience in gaming which ultimately hurts it. I actually first got Siege when it came out god knows how long ago; I remember I was looking through each and every operator's videos, eager to learn more about them; there was a certain feel to them that was so hype, it legit saddens me they never used this kind of style of video (eh, they kinda do, but really only in trailers) more? For me, this is nostalgia... i haven't even started up this game in about 6 years (i have about 300 hours on this game so i'm just a casual player so to speak)...
