Rainbow Six Siege's Platinum Was A Nostalgic Nightmare

Merry Christmas you filthy animals... I Got the platinum trophy in Rainbow Six Siege. It was a bit of a nightmare at times but I wouldn't have finished it, if I didn't enjoy it. If you have any feedback/suggestions please let me know.
I know the mic quality is quite poor if you can put it up with it for now, I'll replace it when I can.

In terms of next video, it will be dead cells since the community poll decided so, but I wouldn't turn down any suggestions, hopefully 2024 will allow me to post more frequently.

Back in 2018, I got every trophy accept for one, “Revive yourself 200 times in Terrorist Hunt” I really wanted to plat the game, but I wasn’t gonna do that. A few years past and I went back to play it, only too boot it up and get the platinum trophy achievement. They had updated the game and removed that trophy, giving me the platinum

I don't really remember the trophy list back then I never cared about it I did start playing in year 2 season 3 though (September 2017) so I suppose I'm one of the older players.

It has been 5 years of me playing this game and i still haven't got the breach charge kill....will try to get it eventually cool video tho..keep it up

Ive been so close to killing an enemy with a breach charge like 4 times but my teammates have killed them each time

I use the standard recording function playstation 4 comes with, and then move it using an ssd onto my pc to edit with davinci resolve. Isn't the greatest method and I'm saving up for a capture card but it works.

Do you know if the full roster trophy counts in a standard match? because I been at it with all ops way past 10 rounds and nothing yet.

The trophy does say quick match/ranked so I'd assume it might not work in standard. I played way over 10 rounds of each base operator and didn't get the trophy for ages though

I did the 10 rounds on operators on standard, and none of it counted…so I have to do it all again in casual

I had to manually write down and keep track of all my rounds played. Full roster can be inconsistent too but you just need to keep at it and the trophy will happen eventually. Having to note down your rounds played is kind of annoying though I don't know why there isn't trackers.

I'm more so referring to the fact that standard/unranked don't count towards 90% of the trophies. It's probably just an outdated trophy list.

@Cahalli The trophies do unlock in unranked/standard though. They're poorly worded but they do unlock in standard. Except for hitting gold, that shit needs to be ranked obviously.

It is rounds not games. 10 rounds as each pathfinder operator so it's 200 rounds not 200 games. It wasn't tracking properly for me too It was very annoying.

how did you get a video of the trophy pop-up on ps4

It's a little bit more complicated. I don't own a capture card so I have to: Record the footage, move it using a USB or ssd etc onto my PC. Move all the trophy pop up photos too. I have to then cut the photo to just show the pop up, put the photo in the video and add the trophy noise too. If that makes sense.

1:50 this prob happened bc you had him downed and his teamate put a breaching charge down which killed him and counted as your kill

It was a head shot so I'm not sure about him being downed but I'll take it anyway I was glad I got it out the way. The new operator looks interesting but I can't find motivation to open the game anymore sadly.

The plat is easy nowadays, before you had to do 100 t-hunt defense to gain the trophy "camper", i think they changed it around y3

Most the trophies specify which game modes so I doubt custom match would work for any of these.

Just about anyone can get plat. My firend started playing about a month ago on a accoint that was lvl 45 and he’s plat 4

The video is about the platinum trophy rather than the actual rank platinum. But yeah anyone can hit platinum it's just about grinding games out.
