I have the DVD of this concert and you can see them messing with each other all night. Ritchie would improv and extra solo, then Ronnie would improv or drag out vocals and they just kept doing it to each other throughout the show. The rest of the band were serious pros to be able to keep up with that, lol.

My first, too! Winterland, SF, CA. They kicked ass. What a drag they didn't get top billing. No big rainbow over the stage. Did No Dice open for them where you were? Where I saw them, they got booed off stage, which kind of sucks for them, but then REO wasn't well received, either.. Bill Graham's biggest mistake. Everyone was there for Rainbow.
