Rainbow Tarot | Unboxing & first impressions walkthrough!

Hello fellow explorers!
Today we are looking at the Rainbow tarot. I first found out about this deck quite by accident through Instagram, and only just as the first printing had already sold out! I patiently waited for the second printing and now it is finally here! I kinda wish I had looked into it a bit more I think... But it is always fun to get a deck just to be surprised as well! Here are my first impressions!

Hi Jenny! Thank you! I am definitely feeling a lot better now, finally! Still have a bit of a cough though. The backs are super cute aren't they? But the gilding is really hurting my hands so I think this deck is about to get trimmed! :D

Currently I'm into really colorful Tarot decks. I started with the David Bowie Starman deck, but had the Oriens deck to begin with. I've just ordered the Rainbow Tarot deck because I got immediately drawn to the cover art. I guess I got drawn to that rainbow with the little heart as I'm on my own journey to try learn to accept my own colors! I just hope my box won't come dented.

I believe the reason because it's in french and english, or the drawings doesn't follow a pattern marseille or waite-smith is that 'it is inspired by love and queerness...' Queer it is related to not have a binary gender or position, thinking it's a marseille or a waite-smith deck follows a binary narrative

Can you share the guidebook link? I bought one but the qrcode doesn't work

Hi, the Rainbow tarot doesn't come with a guidebook or a QR code. I am afraid that you might have accidentally bought a counterfeit copy of the deck. The original deck can be purchased from the artist themselves in their Etsy shop or alternatively I have heard that the deck is being published mass market possibly next year, I am sure that a guidebook will be written for the mass market version.

I'm conflicted about this deck. The art is wonderful, but I have the same impressions as you do. I don't think I can work with a deck that switches languages. And laying the cards out, I find the colors don't really flow from one card to another. Thanks for sharing. ~ Joni

Yes! I have a bit of the same issue! I will try and work past it though, cus I really do like the artwork!
