Just an fyi Purple Rain is already a very blue based purple. I used to mix mine with One 'N Only brand's Neon Purple, which is red based, to make it a nice multi-tonal purple. And the One n Only brand has this crazy shimmer to it!!! 🤩🤩 SO pretty!!!!

This is so gorgeous and unique! Did the other colours bleed into the yellow eventually or does diluting the dye to a pastel shade mitigate bleeding?

Hello, thank you so much for the compliment and your question! Washing your hair in cool temperature water stops the different shades from bleeding together ❤️🙌. Also maintaining the hair by only using sulfate free salon shampoos when washing. If you can using dry shampoo when needed during the week, and washing with shampoo only once a week.

Amor alavida I bleach my roots about every 4 weeks. When I use actual bleach, I only bleach my regrowth (the part that’s not previously bleached or dyed.) I let the rest of the color fade out naturally over time. Thank you so much 😃💜. Also, I use Redken shampoo & conditioner to keep it healthy. My fav is the “All Soft” one by Redken.

It depends on Hair porosity, diet, how much hair is washed, water in take, weather you wash your hair with warm or cool water, environment, etc. It’s different for everyone. Mine tends to fade out within a month, but I tend to use pastel shades which fade faster because they’re lighter. I also use color depositing conditioner like Arctic Fox Hair Color. The darker shades I think would be stuck in my hair a little longer. When I decide I want to change hair colors, I wash my hair more often and with warmer water. I hope this helps 💜

When you were mixing the green as a cosmetologist Hala fuck did you not know that you were going to need three times the amount of yellow compared to the dark Poseidon blue?! First thing we learned in school besides fucking sectioning was the color wheel!smh...

All direct dyes are what you see by eye. If it was a really light blue you’d need less than an exact “3 times.” There’s no “levels” on direct dyes like on natural hair colors. Plus, I wanted a blue toned green. I swatched it, and still got the color that I wanted in the end. It doesn’t matter how I mix it, as long as it’s the color by the time I put it on my hair. I know the color wheel very well. I don’t care about your negative comment.
