Timely post Nicole! I have been thinking of asking for a Mason Pearson brush for Christmas. Now, I think I will consider the Raincry Brushes. I have never heard of them before and now with your very informative video, I do. I have always had nice hair. I had terrible ear problems as a little girl and I used to go the hairdresser with my Mom on a weekly basis to have my hair washed. Today, I often get still get compliments. I agree with your comments about “your hair being your crowning glory”. Shiny hair is the hallmark of youth and vitality! I imagine that you do not use the brushes when your hair is wet? or do you? I know the round blow dry brush from Costco that you got is meant for wet hair, but what about the paddle brushes? Thanks for this informative video, I hope you are well! ☺️

Hi Di! I'm so glad that the video is helping with your Christmas list! That must have been tough as a little girl to have ear problems but you probably had the best hair in class with a professional blowout!! How cute. :). I usually use my Mason Pearson detangling brush (all nylon bristles), the Tangle Teaser brush (less than $20 - works great - I talk about it in my previoius video) and use my boar bristle brushes on dry hair. I've used boar bristle and/or boar bristle nylon brushes on wet hair in a pinch, but tend not too. I've been crazy busy (as always haha) and traveling quite a bit and doing great.
