This was the television I grew up with as a child. Sid Caesar was a genius. It was wholesome comedy and it was funny. I feel privileged to have been born in the 40s and mature in the 50s and 60s. After the mid-80s the era I grew up in had disappeared. Now it's just a memory, but a good one. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

I grew up with SC and all his cast of characters watching them on our dark green RCA tv with the rabbit ears. What a wonderful time that was.

@Tabbycatify Some of the true standard-bearers of old television. Without Your Show of Shows, there would have been no Mel Brooks, Neil Simon, Woody Allen, and no Carl Reiner. Comedy sucks now? I hardly call today's comedy comedy--it's diddly squat.
