Raine Maida on marriage, music and the Maritimes | SaltWire

He hit the charts and Much Music as a member of the group Our Lady Peace in 1992. And it was just a few years that Raine Maida met the woman he would marry, raise a family with. Chatal Kreviazuk has a career of her own as a performer and successful songwriter. This month, the two will be performing at venues across the maritimes. They will be telling stories and playing songs from an album they co-wrote as they navigated the complexities of sharing parenting, relationships all while working on their own careers. Raine Maida talks about why making yourself a better partner and person takes practice but is something we should all embrace.

since we all have our own mind=lone wolf...so living with family growing up..parents are parents but siblings can be quite a challenge !! lol..living with anyone is a challenge !! an accomplishment! or a life sentence( children included ) !!etc etc etc etc etc etc

Watching this guy desperately and obliviously cling to relevance 25+ years after his last “good” album gets sadder every year. It’s even more blatant when you realize he literally named a shiity album Spiritual Machines 2 to try and trick people into paying attention again. This video got less than 500 views in a year because he strangled any popularity he once had in pursuit of commercial appeal that he will never have. OLPs first album was a blatant mediocre ripoff of grunge, their second was a third rate Smashing Pumpkins, then he tried to be Radiohead but he wasn’t talented enough, so he tried a cringe Bob Dylan wannabe solo career (failed) in his 40s. Let it go, man. Please
