Great reaction. In 2018 Su was performing this song as a solo (those were the clips of her on stage with the warrior princess costume and the Kami Band of the East) and it was on the set list as 'Tattoo', we only got the real title 'Kagerou' and the added choreo with Moa and the Avenger of the day joining Su on stage when the album was released in October last year.

When you think about Metal, choreographed dancing is not the first thing that comes to mind. But when you watch BABYMETAL, you notice how much it adds to the entertainment value of the performance. It makes it a much more complete package of fun.

Babymetal has songs for everyone, not one song sounds the same. That's why I can listen to their 3 albums over and over again and not get bored. Get reaction...... more Babymetal 🤘😷👍

⚡ 💕 / 🌡️ 🔥 I've loved this one ever since it was a Su-metal solo called 'Tattoo'. : ) I get excited whenever I hear the first few notes of this song. Su has a really bright and clear delivery. She doesn't add a lot of unnecessary vibrato, etc., just hits her notes like a boss. The vocals are really clear on the studio track, they can be a bit muffled live. And the choreography is a lot of fun. Both Su's freestyling in the original version, and the living heat wave with Su, Moa + a support dancer that it is now. IMO, the best rocker they've given Su since 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!'.

@@JordanRainey BABYMETAL now has 2 bands for their tours. Their original Japanese band, is the Kami Band....they are the ones you will see in white burial gowns and white face paint. Then starting in 2017 or 2018, for tours outside of Japan, they have the West Kami Band or Kami West, and they are made up of the guys from Galactic Empire, and the drummer is Anthony Barone, previously of Shadow Of Intent. These guys usually wear the "Predator" alien type masks and black/dark gowns.

Great reaction! Awesome song, love the intro. The musicians in this video are referred to as the "Western KamiBand". Until 2019 the KamiBand only consisted of japanese musicians but for their 2019/2020 US and European tour these four americans were playing the instruments. You might want to check out the regular japanese "Eastern KamiBand". Check out "Rondo of Nightmare live at Budokan Blacknight".

If you like Suzuka and BabyMetal, you will LOVE Yuko Suzahuna and Wagakki Band. She has a different style than Suzuka but has a huge range, from rock to pop to operatic to the traditional Japanese style of Shigin. You have to do Wagakki Band. Senbonzakura, Homura, Tengaku (2017 Live version), Hanabi, Izana, Nijiro Choucho ( a very beautiful song), Ignite, Cradle Of Eternity, Yoshiwara Lament (live version) and a host of others. The problem is that KZbin doesn't provide English translations of the Japanese titles on a lot of their songs. You have to try them out.

The drummer, Anthony Barone, is a monster, but I still prefer Hideki Aoyama, the usual Kami Band drummer. I don't really like the "sound" of Barone's double bass. Other songs on KZbin with an instrumental intro are Catch Me If You Can from Black Night Budokan 2014 and the Su solo Rondo of Nightmare from the same show (her solos are more serious and focus more on the band and her voice). The audio and I think most of the visuals in this Kagerou compilation are from their L.A. Forum show 2019. The "warrior" look with Su alone on stage was from Rock am Ring festival 2018. Let me put another suggestion in your imaginary hat because it doesn't get much attention: Arkadia kzbin.info/www/bejne/bajKgIl8mJatY5o . It's also a compilation (and I hate compilations usually), but it's basically different fan cams and pro-shot visuals with DVD audio, everything taken from the L.A. Forum concert. But maybe you should do Starlight and Shine first, because these three songs are called "Trilogy of Light" and stand for Loss (Starlight, which is also the unofficial tribute to Mikio Fujioka), Acceptance (Shine), Moving on (Arkadia). They had a difficult year 2018 (guitarist Mikio Fujioka's death, Yui's absence and eventual exit, etc) and this was maybe their way of processing it and moving on.

In this video, the band performing the solos are the US based Kami Band (introduced in 2018): - Guitars: Chris Kelly & CJ Masciantonio (Galactic Empire) - Bass: Clint Tustin (Galactic Empire) - Drums: Anthony Barrone (Shadow of Intent) The original Kami Band which has been performing with Babymetal since 2012 are (in most cases): - Guitars: Mikio Fujioka (RIP), Leda Cygnus, & Takayoshi Ohmura. - Bass: Daisuke 'Boh' Bohte - Drums: Hideki Aoyama

The intro is awesome, but this is one of my least favorite BABYMETAL songs. I've been a fan for many, many years and this one is kinda boring compared to the rest of their songs, but the choreography is great though.
