I hate seeing big cats and other species of animals being killed every minuite. It doesnt make sense why we just buy furniture that is made of for example cat fur. A sofa for example is made with about 2-3 whole cat bodies. That kind of sucks.

a quote i once read said that a tree makes a million matches but a match destroys a million trees so sad i wish everyone can start doing something about this now but some people just wont listen... i mean like people do it illegally because they know they wont get caught cos no ones there to see it or they've bribed the officials with the money they make by cutting down trees or something... i wish the government sends people to patrol the areas day and night shifts cos this is not something that could be dismissed lightly... even if they don't feel it now, their next few generations would. their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren...all their loved ones... "action says more than words" what some people are doing now is like they love money and power more than they love those that love them. and we came to the world with nothing so obviously we are going to leave the world with nothing... whats the use of so much money and power cos if people say its for their next generation and many after, i just wanna say they don't need it cos" money is the root of all evils". as long as we have enough to eat, enough to wear, a place to live, that will be enough isn't it? if all the extra money are given to the poor and starving for them to buy food and necessities, no one in this world would be dying due to lack of food!!! i don't get it...

A study released by the Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA) points out that Brazil has increased agricultural productivity, standing out as a leader and protagonist in the low carbon economy. In other words, production increases, but carbon dioxide emissions decrease. The following are some data presented by the study: . Agricultural area in Brazil is one of the smallest percentages (7.5%); . Area destined for agricultural and livestock use together: Brazil has one of the lowest percentages (27.8%); . Areas of native and planted forests: Brazil has the highest percentage of its territory preserved (58.5%). The other countries have percentages below 35%. the rainforest especially as the amazon uses the thick and deep canopy as a layer of moisture to bring down dew during the night at a particular dew point : temperature, pressure and percentage volume of water evaporated during the day ... the forest needs all of its layers to trap evaporated moisture from leaving to the clouds .. the lack of light slows fisson heating that sunlight really is and dew point is easily got to because evaporation works at any temperature hence at night there being quick rises of the volume percentage of water in the air ... depleted forest cover quickly causes dormancy and none quickly brings the temperature to desert high levels where dew point does not work ... the Sahara desert chills at night but it will not dew and condense .. the soil of these areas are of high mineral content too and in places white very dense minerals which will cause temperatures to climb to desert temperatures in a deforested amazon .. the hottest type of desert too with ease it does not have discernible water table .. elgringo

It's all about cash, nothing else matters...Fast money and governments of Brazil, Indonesia and so on are involved in this practice. The worst is that after roughly 3 years from deforestation soil is becoming desert because it isn't fertile. So they will destroy another part of forest until nothing would remain. People are the worst species of animals.They destroy everything what they find. It is just a matter of time.

If we all planted just one tree or plant every month, we could make up for the losses until sanity prevails and responsible leaders take the initiative to stop this suicidal greed driven insanity.

So where am I going to plant a tree?
@zeph64397 жыл бұрын
If you don't have a garden, it's easy. Join a horticultural society in your area or cultivate them from seed or cuttings and offer them to a farmer or a school in a poor area. They will appreciate it and you may be pleasantly surprised at their response.
@RocOglan7 жыл бұрын
Nadia Knight I cultivate trees actually, just can't plant them anywhere since they like to 'clean' areas here in Thailand. Farmers don't like them because they take space(not only stem but roots too) which they could use for their crops. Never tried schools, but I'll try that, thanks for the idea.
@zeph64397 жыл бұрын
That's interesting. Maybe if the farmers were informed about the benefits of having trees as windbreaks and for shade, to produce fruit and shelter, they could be persuaded to plant them. When trees are planted in the right place and for the right reasons, they greatly improve the value of property. All the best of luck to you, and happy planting!

I just want the whole Earth to plant more trees and not destroy the trees and the forest because then the crucial part in giving us oxygen that because of the trees that we get Oxygen and Carbon dioxide is not there more otherwise we could not get oxygen and hence the whole Earth would be destroyed so we should be thankful to our God for the nature and trees and we should not destroy them

That is just so cruel! They don’t have to use so much land, and that is home to 30 million species of animals! That is a lot, we need to stop this, I hope the animals do something. I hope the animals go to at least a zoo or another habitat! I wish those people who are digging it could stop and find some where else to go because we still got and in tire circle to dig on, and why do they have to choose this beautiful landmark, this national forest, there is not many awesome beautiful places like this, I hope something can happen about this. Please like and comment back that’ll cheer me up (:

I have a very very good suggestion for all the people who are “feeling bad” about deforestation. Why do you not pay the poor people who are cutting down forests to plant trees instead ??? This way by giving higher pay you will stop deforestation. Let us see if anyone is ready to pay money or all this is just a big scam.
