My dad was almost struck by lightning one day... when i listen to this i just say thank you to the skies for not taking my dad away from me for the rest of my life. I just have a connection to rain and especially lightning. I live in North Carolina on a high mountain and part of my room is see through and just love to see the sky light up in white pink and blue flashes. And i was running in the rain with a friend when we heard the loudest BOOM! and we went in the direction of the noice of the thunder and after about 5 minutes we saw a tree blackened and split right down the middle. I feel like a lot of people say “oooohhh the rain is just sooo soothing” and there is some truth to that but when u are literally in a rain cloud it’s a whole new level of soothing. Just wanted to say. Sitting at work and out of nowhere I was overwhelmed by lots and lots of bad thoughts. I couldn't get them out of my head. I was stressing out. It feels like the world was just trying to crush me. But then for some reason I picked up my phone, put headphones on and listened to this. It's so relaxing. It just washed my worries away. And thank you all here in the comments for saying such nice things. It really helped me just now. And to the people who are in a similar situation, just relax. Let go of these bad thoughts they can only hurt you while they're there. Let go. Relax. And everything will be just fine.

Sitting here with my husband… organizing our life and the days to come. Just peacefully. Sometimes we can’t hear each other talk over the rain, but it’s bliss.
