Can we get portuguese and spanish talent next TI, Dota has a huge following in latinamerica and Is a shame that because of some bad rep (some players being banned from Valve events for cheating) it feels like the whole continent is banned, i know they haven't reach top Tier status like some Eu and Chinese teams but without the support how? there Is alot of talent here and Is always saddening seeing how alot of potential gets screwed because not only network issues (lag and ping when doing play offs against people from Usa etc) but the little oportunity they get from the game and Valve itself

I don't think there are any rules regarding prohibition of female players in the many stages of E-Sports.It is definitely possible for female players to go far and compete in major tournaments,in this case,there may be a day we see an all girls team or at least a female player in TI in the future.This opportunity is only present in E-Sports(I may be wrong),where there are no gender discrimination(specific gender only tournaments).If you're good and are able to prove it,nobody is gonna say s**t.Female players have been poping up in other Game tournaments like EVO and some Starcraft tournaments and I believe there is a chance for them also in the Dota 2 scene.In the end,every player respects another player who is better than them(though they may be salty or may not show it).So,its just up to them to prove it.It is as they say,"Rome wasn't built in a day." Sorry for long post and bad english.It isn't my first language

I do hope I get to live to see the day when female players get to compete in TIs and major tournaments with all the male players because unlike physical sports, there are no physiological aspect to esports that should keep these ladies from playing with or against men at a disadvantage, it's just the rampant sexism in the community that keeps them from being a part of the competitive scene of Dota 2. Yes, because there are more boys playing than girls, the talent pool for boys is much bigger. Boys also tend to start playing Dota earlier, because gaming, for the longest time, has always been considered "Boys' activity"

I dont like valve to sponsor this tournament it will become biased as fuck. Like any fucking girl can play in any minor or major or TI qualifier but up until now no girl has ever qualified for that said event. IT'S just that they dont have skill neccesary to be a pro player. Im not having this girl inferiorty complex but of a general rule its always safe to presume dota games usually guys are more better but their always an exception like in the top100 chinese leader board their is a girl but still not enough to be recruited in a pro team.

I think its really sad that in one of the few competitive scenarios where men and women can compete equally side by side, we only see exclusively male teams. even though I hate the fact that gender restricted championship exists, I think its fair to say that its really important to give the girls a bit of a space to be seem and to face off in a comfortable competitive environment to both get visibility and experience. competitions like this may be the only way that some day we will see teams made of boys and girls. its important to remember that this competition is not hurting the male players, but its helping a lot female players.
