Thanks for putting this out there and making all the effort it takes to do a documentary and preserve some pretty fun Pacific NW history-- I'd like to see a documentary sometime about Ivar Haglund, too, if anyone makes one-- he was certainly unique and funny and important to the Seattle area. This Rainier Beer stuff is priceless and a hoot! Glad you found it!

Of that entire series of Mickey's Rainier commercials, the "Singing Mounty" is my absolute favorite. A stroke of genius in MHO, doing a parody of Nelson Eddy & Jeannett Mac Donald!

I remember watching that as a kid during Super Sonics games. I seem to remember that there is a version of this commercial where he actually does pour the beer into the glass. Never knowing which version of the commercial you were going to see was part of the fun.

Back in 1977-78, I saw the version where he pours the beer into the glass all the time; this one, where he pours it into her cleavage, I saw exactly once! I didn't see either again until I found them on youTube about 30 years later!
