I left the tail thread long enough so I could go back and reinforce the whole piece instead of using the working thread. It worked great and I really love how they turned out and they are so easy to make. I plan on selling the pair I made at work. Thanks for another awesome video. I've been beading for 6 years now and I learned how to do flat even count peyote stitch from your video. I've learned a lot of stitches from your videos. My favorite stitch is right angle weave. Thank Kelly and I so wish I could go to that retreat so I could meet you but I will definitely be buying your book. Can't wait.

Love your videos, Kelly. You are a great teacher. Suggestion: I would love to see you model the piece after you make it (or wear a sample before) to show us scale. Hi Kelly, Great earrings, they look chic and I to like to wear any thing sparkly during the day as well. This would be a great design for using up small amounts of coloured bicones and making them in a rainbow colour effect. I hope that when your book is published that I can get it here in OZ. Love this earring i have made 4 earrings and only the first one gave me a proper curve. I have used both swarovski and chinese crystal. The swarovski are the only ones to work. Not sure what i am doing wrong, but they are still beautiful even without the curve.

Hi Kelly, I love your videos, and your designs. I just made your fun fiesta earrings, however, I made mine red, white, and blue! I love this new design "Raining on Prom Night" earrings. I have a niece who wants them for her sweet 16, and her prom. However, I need to make her a necklace to go with these particular earrings. Do you have any recommendations please. the most trouble i have with making your pretty items is threading the needles! I can't find a threader that is small enough to pull through the eye....I recall a bracelet that you made using 6lb fireline thread and a size 12 needle. But I can't get the thread into the small needle eye to save my life!!! I've had to split the thread with my needle and hope i can pull it over all the thread. So I have gone to the open eye needles. How do you do it?

These earrings are all about tension. You need a good tight tension to get the shape and to keep them stiff.
