This song was uploaded July 2019. Ruth was 13 back then. Ez Mil only blew up Jan 2021. So back in 2019, they were making gems and incredible music and art and they didn’t have anyone supporting them. If you see Ez Mil’s songs, it’s just him. Support cast are family - RS as camera person or Anji, his step brother. So when they sang this, what am I even for? This was coming from the heart. When Ez Mil said I am doing this with zero budget, music is beautiful I hope I do it justice. You can feel it in your bones that he truly puts music in a very high regard. That’s why Ez Mil is very careful with his music, he tries his best to release the best music because of his love for it. Prof, in your free time, in Ez Mil’s channel there’s a video there about his announcement for the Act1 album with Slashy (it’s comedic too). You can see how he loves his friends and family.
