Are you concerned about the base rocks puncturing holes in the tank when it is full?

No actually we used 3/4-1" gravel which we kept flat and level. We had to make sure there were no rocks sticking up. Additionally, the tank is very thick. The tank must be placed on rock or very compacted soil, otherwise is could lean. The tank full will weigh 44,000 pounds.
