Hey Brooke! As an avid thrifter I've noticed the same thing at my neighborhood store ( western NY near Buffalo - Go Bills! 🏈), the housewares and decor have been slim pickens! The clothing has been crazy good though. Hoping we both have better luck soon. ♥️!

Thank you!! I was SHOCKED when I found it. I still can’t believe it. And yeah I think we may have to go that direction eventually, but I think I’m gonna start by sanding it down and just trying it out inside first and then see what to do from there! Also I’m a little intimidated about trying to make a tabletop! I’ve not really used many power tools but maybe it’ll be a good project to try to learn some!

Hello! Hope you've had A great week! Being that I love anything old & made of wood, from the smallest to the largest of items..i love that new table! Personally, i would make it work. But I understand that you want what you want, we all do!😉 But maybe you should at least give it a chance! Sand it & seal it & give it a chance, oof it just won't work I'm sure you could get your money back, & plus some. Then at least you won't regret not trying it out! Won't truly know until you try it!😁🤷‍♀️ I love anything from the Victorian/regency era & the French country.. those Victorian doll houses are precious! If I had a space for one & the patience & funds (the decor can get quite expensive) I'd love to have one myself! I'm the same.. I'm not big on some floral things, Babur then there are pieces i love. The blue comforter with the florals was pretty, especially with that Blue & white ticking stripe on the back side! I always pickup little wood boxes or drawers, they can be used so many ways & a that warmth to your decor. Love the brass easel, really gorgeous piece!❤ Well at least the pieces you did find were great pieces! And they made you happy.. So not A bad day!😊 Thanks for taking us along & sharing your finds! Hope the table dilemma works out for you!

And yeah I mean I have always thought the blue and white is pretty but I’ve never been personally drawn to it before and now I am like zeroed in on it and idk how to feel about it! Haha. And I would LOVE to build a dollhouse, it would be like a bunch of little mini room makeovers but you are absolutely right about not having the patience or the funds, I know I would be getting in deep 🤣😅 Thank you so much for watching and for being excited about my finds! The blue and white plates are so hard to find here at thrift stores. I’ve bought off FBMP & eBay because that is my jam. I think if you found the red toile would be pretty for Christmas or the green or brown, but I feel like that’s even harder to find vintage than blue & white. I’ve been collecting to do a plate wall!

Yeah idk why I thought I would be able to find them when I think about it even antiquing they are hard to find or super expensive and you are definitely right that the other colors are even more rare! But Omg a plate wall would be so pretty!!!!

You know I hadn’t thought of that!!! I think we could but then I would have to figure out how to make the top look presentable which idk if you saw in the past video but I struggled with it so bad and had an epic fail with that table 😅 but that’s definitely an idea I hadn’t thought of and I’m sure it’s possible!

Beautiful table. Would try to see if your current table top could be removed and put on one you purchased recently. If not I'd flip it n continue search forward to the length you both really want. Just my opinion. Thrift stores near us has been bundling weird things together for awhile now with higher prices. Husband n I travel to Asheville NC every once an while (we call it quality time together road trips..lol) hit up the thrift stores, bins and Biltmore Habitat. Find way more items n usually cheaper than my area. Absolutely love the clothes you found for yourself. Easel is gorgeous. Have a wonderful weekend.
