I’m sorry but it’s a little unfair how much talent you have. One person alone shouldn’t have all the great instincts it takes to capture dreary weather and make people envy you for being out there to enjoy it. I hate rain, but watching you go through so much to create such captivating content makes me appreciate it. It’s too bad the weather and conditions hampered your attempts to get a great shot of the eclipse, but can I just say the clip you showed of last year’s eclipse was just mind numbingly perfect. Don’t get me wrong I think music plays a role too, but how you manage to take advantage of angles and imperfections to set up a shot and create a mood is just mind blowing. When I first clicked on your videos years ago, it was a thumbnail of the view from the back of your van. How much do you wanna bet that you’re pretty much a pioneer for vanlifers today who saw that same video and thought “now that’s how you should live - out in the open and on your own timeline”. Bet no one expected to come across a KZbinr who shares her skills and talent with a camera. I’ve lost track of how many screenshots I take per video to use as my laptop iPad and phone backgrounds. You really can’t find a bad angle huh? Please don’t hesitate in putting content out there- any short video of a brief footage or montage is better than waiting weeks and months. Even if you think it doesn’t live up to your expectations, pretty sure it’s still gonna leave people in awe. I know you probably share short clips on other platforms but I only have instagram and open the app about once or twice a year so I rely mostly on your videos for screen grabs. Being able to rotate and see all the different places you’ve been makes me feel like I’m on a constant virtual tour of the best views and places. 😊

Geyser shower systems is the bomb. The camping version is what I've used for the last 3 years for myself and family when we were mostly in a tent. Now that we have a campervan, Geyser now makes a shower head adapter with the same type of sponge. Uses 1 gallon of water per 7 minute shower. Inside the van during the winter I'll use an expandable shower bowl with my old Geyser. Can boil 1 part water to 2 parts cold or hook in via 12 volt.

Dear Christian, In your last video you asked for people to give you ideas of what they want to see as you feel that your life is predictable. I can imagine that after living it so long it may feel like that to you however please allow me to assure you it does not feel like that to others ( I know it does not feel like that to me, I love my home and have lived most of my life in two places in the world and I explore and travel however not van life style just usual after work/ weekend / holidays stuff which makes even the most mundane elements of your life no matter how repetitive- charming and interesting to see, you make your coffee at different angles, in different weathers , in different places, in different clothes and it makes me feel like I am there with you in your journey, and I can smell it😊). I follow your channel for more then couple of years now and I eagerly anticipate every video you post long or short as you have rarest gift on this planet - you make heart and soul feel deep, beautiful emotions ( I know I feel these when I watch your videos and I am sure others do too). The way you show the nature, the light, the way you put images and movement together and the music you choose and the words you share are so beautiful, inspiring and enchanting and calming and profound sometimes that I am mesmerised and can watch your content over and over again and also reliving those feelings every time. It also allows me to think about my life and expand my horizons. You are not only beautiful as a human being and a woman, you also have immense depth and beauty in you which shows in the content you create. Your videos are art, and your unique way of finding the most atmospheric shots and highlighting the beauty of these with epic music and your thoughts on life in general or what you are going through makes you stand out from the sea of other creators. For me I would love for you to please continue doing what you do which is showing us the magnificence of the nature in all seasons and weathers with beautiful music and your thoughts on life as every video you post leaves me with wanting more. I would love for your videos to be longer with longer moments of just nature and music and your thoughts as its not only making me feel deep beautiful emotions but also calms my anxieties and inspires me to look at the world through the eyes which notice its beauty. I admire how you can so skilfully pick up on and beautifully film and show all the faces of nature and how it changes and how it feels with different light, different time of day or season, sometimes calm sometimes wild and powerful. What you do in the videos you post shows your immense talent for taking what you see and experience in life and making it into a beautiful, meaningful, engaging story through your hard work and dedication and determination to fight obstacles which is appreciated and for many I am sure life changing. Without sounding like I do not appreciate your hard work and heart you put into these videos , if at all possible I would love to please ask you for longer and more frequent videos of exactly what you created thus far as you are incredible in what you do and you have no competition in my eyes despite like you say many who also live that lifestyle and film it. Listen to yourself as you have a great gift which I hope you will continue sharing with us and I know I will continue to share your channel with people who come into my life as it is so inspiring and full of wisdom, artistry, depth and calm. Thanks for being real. It's not all rainbows and unicorns out on the Peninsula. The gray, rainy West End days can sure get old after a while. You made the best of it and weren't afraid to go out and get soaked. You also seem to appreciate the peace and relative solitude that happens before the sunny days of July and August. I can hardly wait to see where you head off to next.

After four months of mostly rain in Washington, I am more than ready for some warmer weather! 🤗 Something tells me I’ll be missing the moody days again before long, though. I absolutely love the solitude of those months, as you said - it lets the mind wander and dream

I like seeing the pack up. I have a giant 5 bedroom house with a basement. I use to live in a camper, and thinking about it again.

Cool video! When I was homeless for nine years, I stayed at the Pigeon Point hostel in California every so often, it's a lighthouse and right on the water, and was only $35 dollars a night back then. The San Francisco Hostel near Fisherman's Wharf is also nice and right near the water, and the Point Reyes Hostel is very secluded and in the woods, about a mile from the ocean.

Great to see and hear you again Christian. The eclipse was also anticlimactic where I live. I am a sun chaser and the gray, rainy days are melancholy but can be relaxing. The sound of the rain splashing is therapeutic. On nights when I can't shut off my mind and fall asleep, I'll find some rain storm white noise online and it usually does the trick. I miss your weekly-ish videos but understand that you're going through a some changes in perspective. I recently upgraded to a slightly bigger pull behind rv and am looking forward to my first adventure. As always, I loved your video. Keep chasing your dreams!

@@ChristianSchaffer For sure! Although where I live it's already getting pretty warm. I have this feeling that it's going to be a brutal summer in the SE!

Thank You for the upload. The trip to the PNW was a welcome addition to my cup of coffee and my aromatic mid-day smoke. Excellent video, foggy ocean waves and rain soaked trees. Stay Safe, You keep posting and I'll keep watching 🙏👍😎
