sarah i love your videos, your so inspiring. i remember back in your first vlogs how down you were about mitch and to see how you've found someone who keeps so you happy is goals. i resonate with past you so much in that i keep thinking "my ex was so smart and so kinda and just knew everything and could always help me and ill never find that again" and its been 2 years now since we broke up and im still so sad about it. i havent looked at his socials in a year bcause i knew it wouldve hurt to see him and something in caused me to look this past week and i saw hes with a new girl (a girl we actually had an argument about) and idk why its hurting me this much. its already been 2 years and i knew we didnt work, it just hurts to see him happy with someone else and feel like ill never find that. i feel so heartbroken and my self confidence is also super low since that girl hes with has a nicer body than me (thats part of what we argued about-him looking at her in that way) and shes probably smarter too and so social and more forgiving than me and less needy perhaps idk. i see you and kurt and long for that but dont think ill ever find it until i work on myself to recover and i just dont know how. i wish you could talk about how you made it past mitch and talk about self confidence in an age when comparing yourself to others is so easy. i truly feel pathetic that im crying over a guy who's been gone for 2 years now, but seeing him happy with someone else just dug in deep that him and i couldnt have been that way together. they even moved out of state together to go to the same graduate schools, have an animal together --its like shes living the life with him that i planned for us and idk how to cope. i feel so sad and think it must be bcause he was my soul mate right--but then out of the millions of people in the world how could i let one guy make me feel so badly-i feel pathetic, i feel like if this was my friend i would tell them "get up and push forward" and "theres more and better fish in the sea" but somehow i cant take my own advice bcause i keep thinking "what if he was it for me, its not normal to think about a guy 2 years after the relationship if it didnt mean so much to you--what if he is it" idk any kind of advice from your or kurt too bcause from your vlogs and podcast ive heard him mention his failed relationships and youre both doing so well now. i just feel stuck

Love this video! Fox is adorable! I vote for option 1 the denser fabric - I think you’ll be happy with it since that room gets a lot of sun, it seems like a nice quality fabric and is a classic look so won’t go out of style. Since it’s denser it will have nice weight to it and will drape/hang nicely. Check the content some fabric ‘grow’ over time so you may want to ask your curtain hanger if the fabric needs to be lined. Your house is beautiful and you have great taste, you’ll pick the right one not to worry!

To get Abby off the couch, try to focus on a one-word command like “off” instead of a phrase like “off the couch” because it’ll be easier for her to learn! Also put something cozy in the room for her to lay on and start training her to go to it with a command like “bed” or “place” or “go home” and pointing at the cozy spot. Give her lots of treats and pets for both getting off the couch and getting into her little bed!

I would go for the thicker linen and here's why. When you held up the super sheer linen, I could still see every detail of the neighbor's house through it. I don't think the s-folds would lessen that effectively enough. Remember, if you can see out of them in the daytime then they can see in through them in the nighttime. While the thicker one still let's light through it will protect your privacy more. Therefore I vote for the thicker one. Plus it just looks nice!

The denser fabric will give a lot of depth to the room, more so than the more sheer fabric, but it will also make a small room feel smaller. So if use the more sheer fabric in the small rooms and the thicker/more dense fabric in rooms that have a bit more space.

Totally go the dense option!!!! You won’t always want them closed and you’ll love that they actually work as curtains when you want them to

I like the denser curtains. I think they'll let in enough light, but also provide you more privacy if you want/need it

Rainy day home vlogs are my favorite! They’re so comforting and I get so much done myself around my home while watching. Fox is getting so big!! He’s way too cute! 🤗

I would go with the thicker one! I've been in a bright room with sheer curtains like the second one and it literally did not block any light. It felt like having no curtains at all!

Personally I would do the sheerer curtains in every room but the media room. The media room I would do the denser one. “Dad bod” 😂 Y’all are super cute! Love all the vids!

When you live in the UK you definitely get used to it because it’s like this for like 9 months a year...

I never think the weather in England is that bad 🤣😅 when it rains it's more of a drizzle, its hardly stormy
@TheLazzzyStudent4 жыл бұрын
@@danijane2819 I am from Scotland but I currently live in England, so I have experienced the weather in both. England is definitely way less rainy 🙊🤔
@phoebed67934 жыл бұрын
@@danijane2819 True, storms don’t happen that often, but the drizzle is pretty much continuous for most of the year. Do you live in England, because some parts are Rainer than others?

@@phoebed6793 it definitely isn't continuous for most of the year where I live in the Midlands 🤣

Do block out white linen roller blinds with ceiling to floor linen sheers over top. So when you’re not using you can still have that natural light flow through and when you are using you’ve got the option to block out glare / to keep it moody but it still looks gorgeous with the s fold sheers over the top. Think like the movie “the holiday” and Kate Winslet discovers the automatic rollers in the bedroom and has the best sleep all cozy! You want cozy feels in the bedroom and especially in the rumpus room / movie room.

for the linen curtains, i reckon the first one that was ur original idea (can't remember what you called it)! I'm sure it'll look amazing either way!!

The thinner linen curtains will go more with the vibe of the house! They would definitely add character to the room, where as the denser ones will look nice but I don’t think will match the aesthetic as much? ☺️

Try using the Moroccanoil color depositing mask in Rose gold for your hair! It’ll help keep that tone BUT it’s a deep conditioning mask, so it’s not drying at all

I’d personally go with the first curtain option (the denser one) with the expanse of the windows and if you get direct sunlight there it’ll still be bright enough with that light tone colour. If you went the sheer one it would be too light still and then at night everyone could see in 🙊
