I was born and brought up is Sir Oswald Stoll Mansions, right next door to Stamford Bridge in 1947 and lived there with my Mum and Dad and 2 brothers. I loved my childhood in this area. I even worked out on a Barrow in North End Road aged 12 helping to sell "Double sided plastic tablecloths" for 2 bob. Unfortunately we had to move out to Swindon in 1960 due to my Mothers poor health. Its changed alot but still brought back happy memories. Thank you. Ta.

North End Road is 5min to where I live. I don't know what I would do without the produce from this market and road. Food and people from around the world. Arab food, somali food, ethiopian, brazilian. A excellent fruit abd veg market.
