Back in the late 80s I desperately wanted to go to LA because all the bands I loved came from there. Now here I am at 53, never having been to LA, or anywhere in the US for that matter, watching this and thinking "God, what a shithole"! I'm just looking out for those landmark venues of the 80s. Just spotted Chateau Marmont, and the Body Shop as immortalised in Motley Crue's "Girls, Girls, Girls". Is that much rain common in LA? Those smaller roads are terribly flooded.
