I guess it's just the name of the project , but not game's actual name. Because think about it. Omori game is named after Sunny's headspace name , which is Omori. While Mari's headspace name is Hikiko ( Yeah , it is , Sunny calls her like that in this teaser , you can check it. ) So obviously the fan-game is gonna be named Hikiko , but the project Rainy Mari , right? But still great work , my dumbass didn't get the name ' Rainy Mari '.👍

i really like how in the trailer music, sunny joins his sister's piano earlier than in final duet. sunny's part then disappears at 1:06 and the piano starts repeating itself over and over again, like a broken record (probably symbolizing sunny's death, mari's spiral, and mari trapping herself in headspace for possibly four years) then the violin comes in again, repeating the same notes while the piano gets increasingly louder and lower, with the end being mari waking up in the real world (you get the idea) idk i might be totally off but i am very very excited for this to come out!!

The Bright Room in 0:14 seems interesting. OMOCAT said these in her interview : - "The idea of the White Space is based on the ability of some people to completely isolate themselves when a traumatic happens" - "If Basil would have had his own White Space it would've been full of disturbing imagery, and, unlike Sunny's, it wouldn't be static but really dynamic with a lot of fast changes". - "I don't think Basil would be able to escape his own mind like Sunny does. And that's why his problems manifest in the real world. After all, something exists because of Basil’s idea that it exists in the first place." Therefore, the White Space forms based on how they 'cope' to a traumatic event. If one's white space is more static, it indicates that they are tend to separate their problem with the reality. Since 'Something' exists because someone CANNOT escape to their own mind - making it manifest into the real world, I think the extremely quiet, static atmosphere of Mari's Bright Room hints (almost) absence of Something in the perspective of Mari. Rather, the traumatic reminder of Mari would appear in her dreams more than Sunny's experiences.

SUNNY/OMORI has red hands because he pushed his sister down the stairs with his right hand. Her blood is literally on his hands. For MARI, I think it might represent the last look SUNNY gave her before she kills him. OMORI used his ‘guilty’ hand as a literal power move. HIKKIK might use that terrifying last look to cast judgement. For MARI, the eldest, nothing needs to be said. HIKKIK and everyone else can rightfully cast down their judgement.

Yeah also it reminds me of how you rewind a vhs tape and it feels like shes contantly trying to rewind vhs tape since she cant handle the present. But the vhs tape start glitching more and more with each repeated cycle. Till it starts breaking. Which be an interesting metaphor for her mental state and hows shes using headspace to cope

I feel like the hanging plant in Mari's white space means that feeling of guilt in her is growing, due to the death of Sunny. I think when they lose their health, the turn into teru teru bozu, aka dolls. It would probably say _______ turned into a doll! Possibly foreshadowing that Mari is becoming a doll or puppet to Hikiko or headspace. Btw love how Mari's headspace name is Hikiko! The full name is Hikikomori, glad someone noticed this! I also think the chessboard means she is trying to fight her emotions! Wow... First it was a solo violinist.... Now a solo pianoist. This means that they still can't live without each other. No matter which sibling dies or if someone else died in their friend group, it would still mean that one of them would have a headspace. Sunny would most likely die by him drowning or by him being pushed down the stairs. This means whoever dies, they would still grieve for them. If hero died kel or mari would feel the most guilt, if kel died hero or sunny would be guilty. If basil died mari and sunny would be guilty. If aubrey died mari and Basil would be guilty. If sunny died.... mari and hero would be guilty. See what I mean? Mari's viewing of something would probably be a hand. A hand which was sunny trying to grab on to mari when he fell, or him reaching to grasp for air when he was drowning. And gues what? At 1:06 I think mari read that book to sunny every night.

The more the plant grows the more the roots grow underneath the longer and the more the branches attaching itself to everything making it harder and harder to deroot it without destroying everything around it. And if the plant represents blackspace my theory it represents mari constantly trying to contain it in that potter plant but it eventually grows its roots all through headspace. Draining headspace for itself and the more it grows the harder it is the ignore or destroy as headspace gets intangled by it

Considering they used vhs instead of polaroid she could be trying to constantly rewind time in headspace like how you rewind a vhs to delay the growth of blackspace (aka the black plant) but the more she does it the more headspace will break and the plant will never truly stop growing. REALLY EXCITED FOR THIS, the gameplay looks incredible and the new skills and portraits look amazing! All the art fits insanely well and I think the similar gameplay to the base game is one of the things I'm excited for, you don't see enough battles in mods a lot of the time.

One thing I noticed that no one has pointed out yet is that the other dream friends can have level 3 emotions as well, and not just Hikiko. I wonder if that implies they know about what happened?

Maybe it also could be, because Mari understands that she might not be the only one having strong emotions emotions more than Sunny? Ik it doesn't make a lot of sense, but what im thinking is that Mari knows more of emotions because, she technically is older than Sunny?

@Javi-0m0ri Well, in the original, only Omori and Basil could get to level 3 emotions, which might imply they are the only ones who know the truth, and thus feel stronger emotions towards what happened. I really am not to certain, though, so I guess we just have to wait until it releases to find out.

I have a theory! At 2:00 the group can be seen with their emotion parts the same thing was done for the 2020 OMORI trailer that showed how the group reacted to Maris death in the real world soooo this might be how the group will react to sunnys death Aubrey will be depressed in the real world Hero will be angry in the real world Kel will try his best to stay happy in the real world And Mari will be isolated and stuck with the guilt.

I love how in this AU when Headspace friends die, they don't become toast, but "teru teru bōzu" instead to fit the rain theme. This may have something to do with Mari being a few years older than Sunny at the time of the incident before the recital. Hence her Headspace not being as outlandish as her brother's.

This and the fact that Sunny always preferred staying alone (headspace was created long before the fight happened) Mari probably created all of this after the incident happened, as she is a very extroverted and social girl, I think this abrupt change in her personality (+ the struggle of putting a happy facade each day) is going to lead to more abrupt and unsettling “somethings” and an even more terrifying and disturbing version of black space, I also wonder what impact her self isolation will have on Hero (all of the other characters, except maybe Basil, who most likely would off himself after Sunny’s death, are probably going to be the same as in the original) this AU looks so promising…
