It's like walking into your favorite old cafe on a quiet and slightly cloudy or chilly day, or just coming in to enjoy the atmosphere. Yeah, you've been there three times the past three days, but it's cozy and kinda familiar in a weird way, like you've come around several times before even though it's just your 4th visit. The song is cozy and relaxing and familiar, you hear it really often after all. And the rain adds to it's cozy welcoming feeling. ... That's just my thoughts though.

I started this game with the thought “ive heard this game is good looks weird” and as i sat down in my computer chair headphones on ps4 controller in hand. I bought the game 2 months after it's release, ever since then I had played it around once a month to conserve the magic and because the Witcher 3 was a monster, after finishing the Witcher I went on and finished a couple other games before returning to persona 5, my first playthrough took me 100 hours, second 60, Currently on my third, this game had always felt nearly endless and eternal, as everything seems like, until you see the finish line and you start looking back in regret and sorrow to go back and do what you missed out on, luckily games allow you to do that, persona 5 is a game I will never forget, it is truly unforgettable, I still wish to go back to the day I bought it, and say thank you, as every step along the way with this game is so memorable, when you play a game for 2 and a quarter years, there has to be some magic behind it, and now as persona 5 the Royale had Shone us it's brief apearence, I again enter that state of wonder back when I was figuring out what was shin migamai tensein

My brother got me into this game at a time where I needed it most. I was in a state where I had no sense of direction and I hated my sorry state of being because I didn't what I wanted to do or what I liked, then this game appeared before me. At the time I played Persona 5, I was just blazing through the story and I didn't know what to do and how the game actually worked and I just rushed through the game like a typical JRPG. At first, I didn't understand the appeal to it and something kept coming back to me, this song. Beneath The Mask was one of the few songs that I kept going back to than any other songs in the OST, I didn't know why. When I replayed the game in the middle of spring and this song comes up, I always put my controller down and listened to it on a cool spring afternoon without a worry in the world. After replaying it, I understood why this game was so beloved by so many people; it's because of the characters, message, how the game plays out, and especially this game's OST is my favorite video game OSTs of all time (yes, I sound pretentious but it's my opinion). This game has inspired me to be more interested in becoming a barista, but it has also helped me in a more personal matter of finding a sense of direction in life and to be true to myself, increased my interest in psychology, and in music, and facing the world for what it truly is and accepting the reality of it. It doesn't help that Persona 5 Royal has made the game 10x better than it already is, this game will forever be in my mind as the game that has truly influenced, not only finding my direction but becoming into the individual that I want to be. If you are reading this, thanks for taking the time to read my anecdote for this game I just wanted to give gratitude to my favorite game of all time.

Persona 5 is a game I will never forget, after I found it, it was all I could watch about on yt. And when Black Friday rolled around I somehow convinced my parents to get me a PS4 and I payed for the game myself. I was spoiled for the entire plot but that didn’t spoil my play through nonetheless. Persona 4 was a treasure and came just at the perfect time in my high school career where it applied to me while I was still developing my full blown personality and it told me to drop any false personas I put on for the public and just be me. Persona 5 though.....it made me grow up, and observe the corruption I see on a day to day bases and get pissed so much that I want to change things. Beneath the mask, Wake up get up get out there, and River in the Desert are less just badass songs but a goddamn call to arms to the disenfranchised youth to go out and change the world, and I will answer the call to arms and improve the world as best I can in my own field of study due to no small part to this game's message.

Honestly I feel like this game was at its best when the group was small and tight. Haru, Futaba, Akechi and Kasumi are all great but they never felt part of the group for me, especially Haru who still feels like the new girl even by Marukis palace. I hope for Persona 6 Atlus takes a risk and change up the formula by going with a smaller group where the characters are tighter, more developed and interact more with each other.

On the way, I overhear the murmurs of my fellow classmates, "criminal" "freak" "psycho", are just a few of the words I catch as I step up another stair. My hand pushes open the rooftop door, "It's raining" the cat says as he pops out from my bag "How far do you think we can get today?". I stare upwards without responding, reaching out to catch a few drops on my fingertips... "Damn brat! I'll sue", echoes in my head as I think back on the events that had to happen to get me to where I’m standing right now. Maybe I made a mistake... maybe I really should have just minded my own business and gone home like I was supposed to. "Yo, you ready to go?", I turn to see Ryuji standing there with that typical determined smirk on his face, Ann following right behind him. Within her crystal blue eyes, I can catch a glimpse of pain and worry, Shiho and revenge were the only things on her mind. I stare down towards the front entrance of the school. Even from here I can see a few students in volleyball uniforms limping with each step as they head home. No, this wasn't a mistake. Everything I have done has lead me to this point, for better or for worse. I can change this, I can fix this. I clench my phone, starting up the Nav. "Let's do it".

there's something charming about the persona 5's early game. It's more chilling and quiet with only a few characters. Wish the game stayed like that for a bit longer.

@@MultiHadex I've actually decided to try out Persona 4 first lol then moving on to P5. What an overwhelming game had no idea what I was getting into and surprised at the issues it covers. For a mid 2000s ps2 game dealing with identity, sexuality and trans issues? holy shit. And I love the music.

God it only feels yesterday that I played persona for the first time, tbh I just grabbed the game out of pure boredom at gamestop. It was the best thing to grab, I just can't play it again without crying my ass off over these guys. I'm too invested on how thing go despite knowing how the story will end.

After playing persona 3, 4, and 5, Persona 5 was my favorite because the style and music was amazing, The story was just as good as the style and music and the cutscenes are greatly animated, I spent over 200 hours just AFK farming when I got to Okumura and I was over-leveled, The AFK farming didn't help with Yaldabaoth but it was easy for fighting Shido, Sae, and the holy grail, I made great confidant progress as well, almost all but Ohya and Iwai were maxed out. This theme reminds me of those calm days after I beat a palace easily, and I had a lot of fun with this game, Cant wait for scramble and royal, but nothing and I MEAN NOTHING can beat Persona 5 because let's be honest, this game was a lot of fun and we wish we can start a new game with no memories of what happens in the story.
