This is on my bucket list. The big question is, do you need a jet outboard to run the river? It seems quite deep, will be great to find the answer.

No 98 percent of the boats on the river are outboard prop motors.

Fished the rainy for years can't do it anymore Just doesn't feel right anymore fishing walleyes that are up trying to spawn border waters shouldn't be an exception to regular season closure

It’s just a minor inconvenience for them.. they all release well in the cold shallow water and continue on to spawn
