Agreed 🤗 I'm 43 but I started to listen to the carpenters when I was 12, my grandma introduced me to them. I cried hearing Karen's voice because it is so beautiful. I cried even more when I found out she had passed ☹️ I listen to her almost everyday still. Greatest of all time ❤

Proof that there is a God! He gave us an angel on earth for over 30 years and we all loved her and her brother Richard. Le's keep Karen in our memory today 42 years ago Feb 4th, my sister loved Karen and Richard's music, she died Feb 5th at age 23 in 1990.

Met Karen at our dentist office in Oct 1976! What a thrill i was so excited and nervous but enjoyed every second.....she was so sweet to me and kind to this 24 year old crazy fan!!! So pretty in person.....gorgeous A moment or two in time that i will remember the rest of my life: My 2 friends met Karen a few times while working at Gemco there in Downey and met the entire family!

In November 1978 we were at Long Beach State University to see Richard and Karen perform and this is the 3rd time we saw them and it would end up being their last time to perform in public,sadly! However they performed Merry Christmas Darling which I was excited to see them perform my favorite Christmas song!!!! I was on cloud 9 that evening so excited and thrilled to watch them perform again!! An evening to remember!

The entire sound was perfect. Yes, she was the star of it, but he was as well in the studio. When the sax break comes in, it just pushes it up and she is every match for it with the vocal that cries out blues and blahs, really from the depths. An amazing artist - what a talent. Still one of my top ten concerts in the spring of 1974.
