What Dimash did in this song was impressive: He gave the kids the spotlight! He let them open the song, accommodated themselves to their limitations, led them, played a measured solo, prepared a "bed" for the children to shine and finished by tucking them in! There may be more beautiful, more technical, more touching versions... But no one can dispute that this version warms our hearts and souls through its simplicity and commitment to little ones!

Thank you for your reaction. I really appreciate how Dimash respects the children. He sings softly so as not to overpower them. Dimash loves the Chinese people and they love him. I believe he will always come to perform when invited. This is beautiful.

Watching him closely you can see how he will be when he achieves his dream of teaching vocals. He's watching the children so closely, nodding when they come in on cue and that beautiful encouraging smile he gives the little girl at the end just melts my heart.

Estos niño pertenecen a una escuela de canto chiná. No creo que sufran ningún trauma porque seguramente se enorgullecen por haber participado en esta velada. Y figurate la niñita que Dimash se arrodilló a sus pies . Se acordará toda su vida de ello. Aquí en España es corriente que los niños de los colegios actúen y canten en actos publicos . Saludos.

Hi Rocky, this is so endearing. I like all the skills that DQ has and, in this case, how he adapts his way of singing due to he's accompanied by children. He is always generous on stage. I had watched this performance in the DQ channel, but the experience improves adding your knowledge. I got not to cry, but you made it even more difficult for me ☺️. I really appreciate your analysis and explanations and, as I told you several times, I like the passion you put and how intense your feelings are when you talk about great Dimash. If you were not already in love with Dimash, as a DEAR, this song would do it! What a beautiful display of respect and restraint from Dimash. These children will remember this day forever! It would be wonderful for Dimash to sing with them, again, in 10 years. What a treat! Have the backdrop be the kiddos, as they are today. This is my favorite Dimash moment.
