The Britannic is Titanic's younger sister, and both of the ships sunk differently. It is a shame how some people forget about Britannic. Unlike the Titanic all the people who died were in a life boat when the Britannic sunk, cause 2 boats were released without permission and the people on them died because of the ships still moving propellers.

If they could raise either of those ships it would be the Britannic. Where she sits in the Mediterranean sea, you can dive down to her with just scuba gear, and the ship is almost completely in tact. I saw this hole movie and it was funny to me. But I had to realize that this was basically what people thought about the Titanic until they found her in 1985. Despite survivors saying otherwise, it was assumed and accepted that she sank virtually in intact and in one piece. However,this is a brilliant piece of editing. As I mentioned before, I've seen "Raise the Titanic", and I've seen the movie "Britannic". They manged to take the sinking scene from Britannic, reverse it, and edit it into the right places in the movie raise the Titanic.

Maddy Diak The footage is from both films. The film with the ship on the bottom of the ocean, and them inflating the balloons to raise it, is from Raise the Titanic. The footage of the ship cresting the water and setting back upright is the sinking scene from the Britannic movie in reveres.

Titanic was Olympic and it's true a ship doesn't get 2 extra potholes on it Titanic was not finished so they renamed Olympic to Titanic And changed Titanic To Olympic and survivors said they felt the ship lean to one side and Olympic did that because of Hull damage.

Gearhead9001 Not so. they both started off with fourteen port holes Titanic had the two extra added during her fitting out and Olympic had hers added in the refit done after titanic sank. as it was custom for White Star line ships, the names of the ships were etched so many inches into steel plates on the side of the ship. Switching them would have meant that both ships would have needed to be dry docked simultaneously and they only built one, and how would they have been able to hush that up. Also, it took four years to build these ships and three to completely destroy the Olympic a switch could not have taken place over night much less over a week end. The switch theory is just fantasy for suspicious minds, but the facts don't lie.

Britannic, like the Olympic, was the ships twins of Titanic, and Britannic and Titanic continue to stay underwater, Olympic continued his travels after war, and unmounted later. Britannic haven't never traveled for civil trips, it was an hospital ship only and sank in Aegean sea at 1916.

lol, I like it, using Raise the Titanic footage to make Raise The Britannic :-) For anyone that doesn't know, the film "Raise The Titanic" was made in 1980, 5 years before the Titanic wreck was found in 85. Of course, Titanic is in way too bad condition to be raised and is also is two halves. Britannic is only 400 feet down, so would in theory, be "easier" to raise, but it's an official War Grave, so never will be. Britannic can be visited with Deep-Sea Scuba gear, with authority permission.
